Open source companies fared very well in the 2008 recession. Many grew stronger bc they were the lower cost/high-value options. Vendors that make it easy to use/buy will do well in the current financial fallout, too, bc customers still need to figure out how to deliver value

Another 4 months to Magento1 EOL. Global install base down with 3-4K monthly. At this rate, 105K M1 sites need extended security support beyond June. Resources:
