if you were to show the condition of Indian railway stations pre-2014, new kids won't even believe it.
Filth on the platforms, the excreta from toilet used to fall directly on the track, you stand near the edge of platforms and it used to stink.
Meet Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India since 2014 and the Member of Parliament for Varanasi.
His MPLADS profile is properly updated, with geo-tagged images and clear proof of work.

I'm not against Indian hockey. I'm disappointed because I care.
My hockey knowledge may be limited, and this is just my opinion. (Armchair coaches, you can skip this.)
The last two FIH Pro League seasons have exposed the reality—we finished 8th. If not for Ireland and Pakistan, the standings could have looked even worse.
Don’t tell me that we are trying new players or we are applying new strategy’s 🙃
Yes, we won the Asian Champions Trophy and the Asia Cup. Congratulations to the team. 👏 But let's be honest: those tournaments are no longer the benchmark for judging where Indian hockey stands globally.
Now the usual explanation will be:
"We're focusing on the Asian Games because it's the Olympic qualifier."
That's understandable—but the Pro League table doesn't lie. It showed exactly where we stand against the world's best.
our junior team can beat Pakistan, it also shows the gap between India and the rest of Asia. Winning Asian tournaments is expected. The real challenge is consistently competing with the top teams in the world.
So here's the question:
Are we spending €24,286 ( approximately 25 laks ) a month on a foreign chief coach just to dominate Asian competitions? Or are we investing to become a genuine medal contender at the World Cup, Pro League, and Olympics?
Being satisfied with regional success while struggling against the world's elite shouldn't be the standard for Indian hockey.
Supporting the team doesn't mean staying silent. Real supporters ask tough questions because they want higher standards—not lower expectations.

Most of India's PCB prototyping still happens in China, with JLCPCB offering ultra-low cost, consistent quality, and ease of use for small quantities.
Indian PCB manufacturers exist, but they struggle to compete with China on price.
Now though, there's a new kid on the block.
@ivishaltejwani is building PlaceStation, a made-in-India PCB manufacturing product ecosystem (based on open-source systems) that combines accelerated stenciling, component pick and place automation, and a custom reflow oven.
By bringing all of these together in a desktop-sized assembly line, Vishal and team are unlocking unprecedented access to affordable in-house PCB prototyping for Indian startups.
We visited Vishal Tejwani's R&D office in Mumbai to see how he's making it happen.
I visit a lot of Indian hardware startups.
I see a lot of JLCPCB boxes.
I always ask, "Why are you getting this done in China? Why not India? Aren't you worried your designs will be copied?"
The answer is always the same: "No Indian firm can beat Chinese prices."
I hate this answer. Not because it's inaccurate (it makes sense and I don't blame them for choosing the most affordable option, especially when they're bootstrapping). I hate this answer because I just really wish the reality were different.
And that's why I'm so glad Vishal Tejwani (@ivishaltejwani) exists. This man is singlehandedly trying to flip the script by putting affordable PCB manufacturing machines into the hands of every Indian hardware startup.
Right now he's offering three systems:
1. StencilStation - Rs. 15k
2. SolderStation - Rs. 22k
3. PlaceStation - Rs. 2 lakh
You can't beat these prices in India right now unless you build these machines yourself.
Also, big shoutout to @prakdadlani for being an early believer in Vishal's vision and implementing PlaceStation in his factory to move PCB assembly from China to India.
India uses its 4th most powerful military in the world to help countries facing a crisis, even if they are 9000 miles away, instead of attacking them.
India set up a makeshift hospital during the Turkey earthquakes too, treating thousands of people as its military helped Turkish authorities clear out the rubble.
During the Russia-Ukraine war, India evacuated its own citizens along with stranded citizens of other countries, including Pakistani citizens.
India also led the medical and rebuilding efforts (by sending financial aid) during the Nepal earthquakes in April 2015. India sent the highest number of troops to the region and led the operations for months - free of cost for Nepal.
Even during the fall of Yemen in 2015, India evacuated its own citizens as well as American and European citizens, who were stranded there and expecting no help from their own military.
All this was FREE OF COST. India didn't send a bill to any of these countries.
We owe India gratitude, instead of the racist treatment it gets on social media.
🚨 The Indian government has hiked passport application fees, effective from July 1, 2026.
The new charges:

Rs 6,000 for 60-page (Tatkaal category)
Its giving feeling to the people that they are putting effort for people's problem. 🔔. Bro you put story for Gaza's children first then story of you partying thinking that my story/follow will change the world.
Instagram is completely fucked up app. First of all its very negative (and I think persons who are using it aggressively as well). You pick any issue, people will create 1000 meme and reels over it instilling fear inside you.
That being sad - its not people don't put effort - they do. Chose some dark sad music. Do some scary makeup and then tell people anything - they will believe you. And whats more scary is
