The people on that island have been suffering for far too long. The smoke grows thicker with each passing day. It no longer hangs only over the island, it has spread across borders, reaching countries throughout ASEAN.

This is no longer something that can be treated as ordinary or dismissed as just another environmental disaster.

Kalimantan should be protected!!

It has long been known as one of the world’s lungs, a vast green sanctuary that sustains not only the people who live there, but countless species that depend on its forests to survive.

Now many of those animals are losing their homes. Forests that once stretched endlessly, dense and alive with wildlife, are being reduced to memories.

Behind every cloud of smoke are people struggling to breathe, communities forced to endure, and an ecosystem being pushed closer to irreversible damage.

Please, remind our president and government officials that this can no longer be ignored!!

This is not a problem that can be looked at from a distance or pushed aside for another day. The people of Kalimantan need action. The forests need protection. And the crisis unfolding there deserves the full attention of our government.

Please do not let Kalimantan become another tragedy we only remember after everything has been lost!
