Following recent concerns about the rising @STELCOMALDIVES electricity bills, I thought it might be interesting to do a little investigation myself. I analyzed my home’s electricity bills alongside daily temperature records from @MetMaldives.

Here’s what I found: 📈

2. Final bills reflect Ramadan discount deductions. & WAMCO’s fixed charge included in all since previous details were unavailable.

3. Climate data obtained from https://t.co/al9gjD9lYg. Average temperatures were calculated using daily data for actual billing periods.

1. Bill history available up to August 2023 from the STELCO app. Earlier bill dates were filled assuming a 30-day cycle.
