As Bitcoin plays around $86,000 again, it is certainly irritating that the borrow function is still disabled for @TectonicFi. @Fwiz, when can we expect to be able to utilize the one and only money market on @CronosNetwork again? #Crofam is dealing with an important problem DeFi was supposed to solve, accessibility to credit for the average joe...
I come to you in good faith, and with the love for a brother that Christ calls us to have. With that being said...I find a few things peculiar.
The “where does it say pastor” line is semantics, and you know it. Paul does not hand Timothy a modern job description. He uses elder, bishop, and shepherd for the same men. Ephesians 4:11 pairs pastors and teachers.
Ephesians Chapter 4: 4-16
"4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Notice how apostles, evangelists, prophets are isolated and pastor/teacher is connected...
And the bishop in 1 Timothy 3:2 must be apt to teach.
1 Timothy 3:2
"A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach"
It is really interesting that you just gloss over the prohibition. “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression” (1 Timothy 2:12–14). Two verses later the office that man may desire is the bishopric, and the man who desires it must be “the husband of one wife… apt to teach” (1 Timothy 3:1–2). If “teach” did not include that office, chapter 2 and chapter 3 would be about two different things. They are not. Teaching with authority over the assembly is the pastoral office. “It doesn’t use my preferred English noun” does not split what Paul joined in one letter.
“Husband of one wife” does not mean every elder must be married. Almost nobody has read it that way, and Paul himself was unmarried. This is a translation you make for us on our behalf. Not one we make ourselves. Then you go on to argue the translation you made on our behalf as if we made it on ourselves. It means the man in the office is a one-woman man: not a polygamist, not unfaithful. That is a qualification of the man, not a loophole for a woman. Rome’s celibate priesthood is a later discipline and a medieval invention. It has never been a reading that the office is open to women or that men MUST be married.
On 3:11, the Greek is gynaikas hosautos, “women” or “wives” likewise, with no word for “their.” The King James reads “Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.” You are right that the noun is ambiguous. You are not right that the ambiguity overturns 2:12. Verse 12 goes straight back to “Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife.” Even if 3:11 is women who serve, service is not the oversight that must be apt to teach. A disputed deacon verse does not erase a creation-order prohibition two paragraphs earlier.
And the appeal to Greek is a strange hill for a Protestant. Luther did not treat Greek as the final court. He held the Hebrew, the Mosaic text, above the Septuagint, and where the Greek Old Testament ran past the Hebrew canon he would not call those books equal to Scripture. He still printed them, but under the label that they are not held equal to the Holy Scriptures, yet are useful and good to read. So the Reformation’s own Bible was already a judgment about which Greek witness to trust, not a surrender to whatever the Greek says. Greek was a witness he felt free to demote. He translated the New Testament from the Greek, and even there he set Hebrews, James, Jude, and Revelation apart because they did not preach HIS doctrine clearly enough. “Most translations render it women” is that same kind of move. The conclusion is already in the choice of witness.
The conclusion is already in the witness you chose to trust. So which witness is it, Paul or Luther? Paul wrote both letters. In one he suffers not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man. In the other he names pastors and teachers among the gifts given for the work of the ministry. Luther is the one who treated the Greek as a witness he could weigh and demote, holding the Hebrew above the Septuagint and setting books aside when they did not preach his doctrine. If your court is Luther, then stop pretending the Greek rendering settles it. If your court is Paul, then the word you said was missing is in Ephesians 4:11, and the prohibition is in 1 Timothy 2:12. You do not get both.
The more I come into contact with uses of sola scriptura the more I am convinced all sola scriptura IS solo scriptura.
Peace be with you my brother in Christ on this glorious Sunday. And may you come to know Him in the fulness of the truth rather than being partial to it leaning on your own understanding.♥️
The evm will always have a glass ceiling to the technological capabilites of the zkevm.
Yield bearing stablecoins with real verifiable yield was an example of this.
We abandoned an environment with so many opportunities all to double down on a general purpose evm for the sake of one and only one app.
Some bangers from the SEC today:
1) buybacks do not make a commodity token into a security
2) liquid staking tokens for commodities are not securities

Strategy is proposing daily dividends on $STRF, $STRC, $STRK, and $STRD, accruing every calendar day, including weekends and holidays, and paid the next business day, with economics unchanged. The proposed changes aim to support price stability, liquidity, and demand.
We've replaced the old VVS whitelisting form with a new one. Apply for token whitelisting here: https://t.co/l0IJib1KNN — this is now the official channel going forward.
PUSH is consolidating into OBS
When PUSH and Obsidian merged, we said the assets would stay separate and be addressed later. That time has come.
Why?
1. Aligning with where the chain is going.
The chain is streamlining CDC listings and app exposure, and PUSH is limited in what it can access because its liquidity is burned on Ebisu's Bay. Liquidity on the chain isn't being aggregated, so to take advantage of what Ult offers, we need a sizeable pool on VVS for now. We would rather focus that liquidity on one token than split it across two.
2. Two communities, one asset.
By consolidating into OBS, which has a strong and growing token foundation, we bring both communities and all revenue streams together under one asset.
PUSH launchpad revenue will now point to OBS.
PUSH holders who convert to OBS get exposure to the Obsidian revenue streams already in place.
The https://t.co/9DjM4w1V3O rewards system will be migrated to the Diamond system.
3. Being able to move between chains.
We're about to expand to other places, and it matters more than ever to move assets and reach new chains quickly. Our current structure doesn't allow that easily.
What we did ahead of this announcement
We front ran this migration on purpose, to maximize value for PUSH holders. We converted the PUSH held by the Treasury, Liquids and the DAO into OBS, and pulled as much liquidity as possible from the EB LP.
We took a snapshot of these transactions. To prevent front running on the OBS side, the OBS will be purchased OTC for the remaining migration, and we will buy back the Treasury's allocation.
Your options
You can sell or keep your PUSH, or you can migrate it to OBS in this event.
How the migration works
Migration is a gated 10-day event.
Step 1: Deposit your PUSH in the migration portal before the deadline.
Step 2: When the event ends, claim your full OBS allocation with no locks. All CRO collected from deposits is used to buy OBS, split in proportion to each person's share of the total PUSH deposited. When you deposit doesn't matter.
Deposited PUSH is sold into the LP to pull out as much CRO as possible and reduce PUSH liquidity.
PUSH rewards
PUSH rewards will be turned off when the migration ends. You have 10 days to claim your rewards and either migrate them or take them out. Any PUSH rewards still unclaimed after the 10 days will roll into the final migration, and the resulting OBS will go to those who participated in the move.
NFTs
We recognize that this is needed on the NFT side as well, and this is where Liquid NFTs give us a much easier path to consolidation. We are still working out the details of what this looks like, but in summary, all NFTs will liquidate their holdings into OBS to grow their Liquid NFT pools and prepare for an eventual migration.
Mattress Fund: The Mattress Fund is being reversed. You have 1 month to claim. After that, any unclaimed CRO will be used to buy OBS and added to the Boomer Liquid NFTs.
Graveyards: Any asset that was set to receive PUSH through a graveyard will have its allocation converted to OBS automatically.
On July 25, we hacked OpenAI.
Two bugs let us take over ChatGPT/Codex accounts of OpenAI employees (+some unaffiliated users) and reach connected services: Outlook, Slack, GitHub, etc.
We proved it with a PR in OpenAI’s internal codebase . It took us <72h. 🧵
Money markets. What do the future of money markets look like on Cronos? Currently, the only place to borrow the dollar against assets is on Tectonic. This is where some of my Bitcoin sits as collateral to do so. Can I expect to still be able to borrow the dollar on Cronos a year from now via a money market? To clarify, Im not speaking of short term perp leveraging.

I'm seeing a lot of hate for this @LoadedLions_CDC article that was just released. I think this is a pretty clear indication that some folks perhaps need to focus a little bit more attention on their reading comprehension skills. This clearly went over several heads lol.
