Step 2: Find a business that scales without you.
Vending machines checked every box:
• Low startup cost (I started with about $15K)
• Recurring monthly revenue
• Can be systematized and delegated
• Kids can learn alongside you
The goal isn't to buy yourself a job.
It's to build an asset that works while you sleep.
This afternoon in PMQs, @JohnSlinger stressed the importance of music education and asked the Prime Minister to invest in music and creatives subjects so that they are accessible for all children.

It takes time & lots of sweat.
3/5 pillars for a new ecosystem to transform music learning. Focus on Modern & Diverse Music: Music culture moves fast, but education can’t keep up. So centralised plans that are set for years do not work in the context of music. Music being taught must be relevant and relatable.
"Music learning in the UK could be reshaped by an alternative model where a multipolar community curates courses & connects directly w/ artists. This will put the interests of learning, sharing & co-creating at the heart of the decision-making processes" https://t.co/NR5NCWL14V
"The benefits to the music community of this approach include an increased number of people who are able to participate in learning through easy access, a more inclusive range of offerings & a stronger local music scene which can generate cultural & community economic benefits"
Students should receive structured training to develop musical skills. This should include learning a MODERN instrument, theory & performance techniques, but with MUCH MORE emphasis on skills! @playvirtuoso artist educator Hodge, showing us how to do a lot with little & HAVE FUN!
