@MalloryRubin@jowrotethis loved all the Nolan deep dives. Memento is an all timer for me and loved hearing you both break it down, inspired me to go rewatch the other Nolan films.
@JonesOnTheNBA Really was a great season overall, had Bynum developing then the trade for Pau, was a really fun season despite the disappointment in the end.
Everything seems PR driven, Silver probably would’ve tried to brush this under the rug but with all the shit he’s taken lately now he feels the need to look tough.
There is a "significant upswing" in speculation that the “NBA hammer” is likely to fall on the Clippers for the Kawhi Leonard Aspiration scandal, per @sam_amick
“This was a noticeable shift from earlier in the season, when so many seemed to believe that the Leonard/Aspiration scandal might come and go without any substantive punishment being handed down.”

This is a perfect argument for completely and totally flattening the lottery odds. Include the play in teams too. Eliminate the incentive to be artificially worse than you are. If the 18 teams with the worst records have the same shot at the number 1 pick, it’s solved.
@creepydotorg Damn after having my own battles with addiction and related psychosis I don’t know if I’d be able to rewatch this again, harrowingly accurate.
@lafauexprod Makes me think of the crawlspace episode of him maniacally laughing while the camera pulls away from above, wonder if that played into that as well symbolically.
@talkhoops@DarthAmin@CornPuzzle would add will smith being a complete dick to his actual son in After earth as a shitty dad and robin williams in hook, first half had zero patience for them second half gave little effort to get them back
