Twitter for Intimate lives? Autism, Gender, and Sexuality conferences and Intimate Lives Autism Network - keeping the #intimatelives community in touch!
An updated/re-organised selection of articles, blogs, books on autism, gender, and sexuality - not *necessarily* (but often) endorsements, but an idea of what is out there:
I would love to have a discussion about ABA & PBS in the context of conversion therapy but please support the trans community in this trying time, even if to just contact your MP

@noahadams @ButNotTheCity See @JakePyne (https://t.co/HgCDbj13zW) & @IntersectQUB 's (https://t.co/iHg13ctm0q) work for some more critical thinking around this!
'...the predominant theories of autism do not stand up to philosophic scrutiny, not because they are neurotypical, but because they consist of behaviourist observations that only represent a shallow reality, phenomena, rather than the deeper realities of events and mechanisms'
My first sole authored article "A Critical Realist Approach on Autism: Ontological and Epistemological Implications for Knowledge Production in Autism Research" has just been published today.

Question for you all - how easy or how difficult was it for you to access sexual health services in your area? This could be for sexual health checks for STIs, cervical smears etc. We'd love to hear about both good and poor experiences. Cheers m'dears!
The book I edited 'Working with transgender and non-binary people: Research, Practice and Experience' launches in two days (eek!). I created three book launch events for anyone who wants to come hear a bit about the book and discuss the chapters with the authors.

On this day 33 years ago #Section28 was introduced by Margaret Thatcher banning the ‘promotion of homosexuality’ by local authorities and schools. These cruel laws fuelled bullying and blocked intervention. They weren’t repealed until 2003 after affecting countless LGBTQ+ lives.
First endorsement of the book 📚 by @StarFeuri :
"This collection articulates -- with nuance, care, and determination -- the multi-faceted issues faced by autistic transgender people in accessing gender-affirming care.
I’d like to introduce all y’all to Jenney. She’s a producer extraordinaire. She’s funny and very talented at reciting facts. We just got MARRIED and we are very chuffed. This is me gushing. I’m full of very positive feelings. Thanks to all y’all who voted for marriage equality.
