@Autist_Writer Yup, definitely! I even got the 'you can't be autistic because another patient of mine was autistic and they weren't like you' when I tried to suggest this despite my psychologist believing it was only depression and anxiety

I picked up a bunch of new followers for autism tweets. It's autism awareness/acceptance month. I'm autistic and I would like to cultivate wider awareness/acceptance of my writing.

I wasn't ready for, was the depression and PTSD that came with all my experiences. I don't wish this upon anyone.
It's worth noting I wasn't dx autistic at this time, but specific language disorder and dyslexic. 8/8
I didn't go through ABA (as far as I know), but I did go through speech and behaviour therapy when I was 4.
I remember being constantly corrected when I said a word or sentence wrong. No focus on what I actually wanted to say, just how I said it. This affected my 1/
been exposed to emotional abuse for many years, it's still there. I still fall back to it to protect myself. Even though I'm not being emotionally abused. It just feels like instinct now and I don't want it to be. I spent many years planning how I wanted my life, but what 7/

Ending all support services for autistic folks at 18 does so much harm, and completely ignores folks diagnosed as adults
@SpectrumThis Maybe, from what I read it can be low blood pressure (not even sure if that's the case here). But the recommendation for extensive yawning is contact your doctor, so I guess I probably should do that as most sources claim it's not normal
Genuine question: Do you experience that you yawn a lot when barely exercising?
When I try to mildly exercise, sing or dance, I yawn constantly and it's always been like this, and it's getting in the way of these activities. Is it just my body's inability to obtain enough O2?
