Mariners, OSU Beavers, Seahawks. 🇵🇰 🇬🇧 🇺🇸. Former Democrat now independent right-leaning and vehemently anti-progressive. Autistic. Pro 🇮🇱. Road Cyclist
I love that he gave the game away. No 20 something, trust fund young adult, fresh out of an Ivy, who belives that world peace is only a few hugs away (Jews not included), should be anywhere near foreign policy. Any dem leader who folds to their staff or external base is a coward.
The Democratic party desperately needs to overhaul the staff infrastructure. Go find staff in the middle or the south of the country. Pay them real money, not the lowest salary so that only the most out of touch children of wealth can work on the hill.
. Do this, and the party might look like the normies in the country again. We could even eventually start winning in the deep south.
It won’t help because everybody knows that Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed is Piker’s gimp.
So he can either embrace his support for terrorism, or he can lie.
Right now, he’s trying to split the difference.
Exactly. When Piker came to Michigan (first time meeting in state - 2nd or 3rd meeting), Abdul and I were running in a store trying to get him gym shorts.
All while he was bragging/clout farming on stream and to fans on the ground, that a U.S. Senate candidate was out shopping for him. Add in that Abdul actually disliked him early on, but was calculated and wanted access to youth support. He would say he confuses him, because he acts like a bro, but will wear a dress.
In short, Abdul isn't the lead in this relationship. Hasan is, and he will not be able to reign him in. Abdul is Hasan's side kick not vice versa.
Mariners have to stop relying on rookies to be answers without much backup behind them. They did it with Williamson, Young, Emerson, and might with Arroyo. Depth has been a huge issue over the years, no reason to force Arroyo/Montes onto the roster when you can target MLB bats.
its such a weird fit in terms of lineup cuz Donovan and Young are also slap lefties but more good players is nice and if they did want to bring Arozarena back, they still could! he has experience in right field with Tampa.
Our big trade deadline acquisition is a day or two away from just becoming a bench piece and pinch-hitter against lefties.
Bryce Miller has been pitching injured for the past month+, which was known to the organization the entire time.
Jerry Dipoto and Justin Hollander still absolutely deserve to be fired. And they’ll deserve it even if we sweep the Phillies tomorrow.
I had a pretty good internship the summer between my junior and senior years of college at a very well known company. Didn’t get a return offer (same with 80% of the intern class) and had to re-recruit. Not a great feeling
Please and I cannot stress this enough DO INTERNSHIPS. Getting to your senior year and having a job already is the most freeing feeling you can get. Also the job market is horrible.
All of these are very important so why are you attacking yourself at the hip to a bigoted pro-authoritarian streamer instead of denouncing him and focusing on this stuff
Hasan Piker’s dangerous and hateful language targeting Jewish Americans has no place in our civic discourse. Suggesting that Jewish Americans bear responsibility for hatred or violence directed against them is wrong, dangerous, and antisemitic.
We can, and should, argue fiercely over policy. We should have meaningful dialogue and debate about the policies and actions of the Israeli government and American foreign policy. That is the lifeblood of democracy. But that’s not what this is.
No American should be told that their political beliefs make them responsible for hatred or violence directed against them. There is a bright line between vigorous debate and rhetoric that stokes hatred toward our neighbors. Mr. Piker has crossed that line, repeatedly and unmistakably.
Is this an advantage for the Dodgers?
Absolutely
Is it cheating? Did the Dodgers break the rules?
No, they are literally just following the court’s ruling
Obviously it is dumb, but anyone in the Dodgers situation would do the same thing…
I think generally we are tired about being lectured by the media morality police and then when there is a real life morel dilemma the shrivel like a flower due to access and monetary connections.
@MarshaIIZach It’s sad to see both him and Cal Raleigh struggle. Even as an M’s fan it was cool to see Vlad’s insane postseason run, I was at all 4 ALCS games in Toronto and he was beloved by everyone
0-6 with RISP the last 3 games and just handed Kansas City 2 runs. That playoff run no longer matters, no player of his stature has ever went on a run like this. He’s going to cost people jobs, and he’s singlehandedly keeping this team out of the postseason.
