Self-driving tech on NZ & AU roads: Raw drives, performance analysis, passenger reactions. Join the journey toward autonomy Down Under! ๐๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฆ๐บ
@MattFarrar12@Tesla@teslascope Yes Grok is pretty damn good, and so was the FSD performance. However, not sure if its actually been improved or not, with this release?
Yes hanging out for v14!!!
@arnavsharma I just drove around Wellington NZ this morning in terrible storm. Performed really well, except still had tendency to miss the correct lane selection in some spots (even though maps showed the correct lane).
Handles 95%+ of NZ roads brilliantly. These 5% edge cases are exactly why real southern-hemisphere, right-hand-drive testing matters. Full Christchurch-to-Wellington 400 km video (7 disengagements) drops next. Submit your own sightings via the button on the Notion page ๐
FSD v13.2.9 does this on a clear Wellington straight โ no traffic, no obstacle. Full speed + slow-mo analysis. RHD behaviour US creators never see. Logged for Tesla AI. Notion dataset link below ๐ https://t.co/lFJ2ntNpQK
I've just had 2025.46.5 software release show up in Tesla app for HW4 in NZ. Looks like the holiday update, but clearly says FSD is still v13.2.9. I am in Sydney for the next week so can't try it out unfort..
@AngeH1040417 got this update yet? or anyone able to test out in AU/NZ? @Tesla_AI@TeslaAUNZ

@CARN0N Hi @CARN0N , I'm overseas so missing testing the new release right now. Is there any update to FSD? Doesn't look like it from the release notes, but there maybe be some refinements??
@stevenmarkryan That's it
Love your work. Since the earliest days. You finally kicked me into contributing. See my first vid

@CaitlinKellyNYC@marlene4719 Probably the best use of subsidies you could imagine. The value creation has been hugely positive for the world and at local levels as well. Something like 1000x ROI. Compare that to other subsidies?
@AngeH1040417 Thanks @AngeH1040417, yes cruising speed is sometimes off. We find it's not always too slow. Mostly it's about right, or a little under but sometimes too fast. I use a squirt on the pedal to encourage it to pass, or move into crawling traffic when someone gestures us in
