Reskate (the Skate 4 mod) is kind of poetic in a way.
You have this game that was hyped for over a decade.

People absolutely begging for it's release.
The game drops and it's filled with microtransactions, battle passes and missing features.

Classic example is the devs said it was too hard to add a day and night cycle.

Modders create their own client and now everyone has migrated from Skate to Reskate.
Now not only is there custom skins, maps, soundtracks there's even mods which change how the game operates as a whole.
