Heated Rivalry is a testament not only to the talent of the Canadians who created it, but also to what makes Canada such a remarkable country.
We are a country that welcomes storytellers, listens to their stories, and celebrates our differences.

🚨 PEOPLE ARE BUYING HOME-COOKED MEALS FROM STRANGERS ON FACEBOOK “PLATES”
Across Facebook Marketplace and private groups, people are openly selling full home-cooked meals straight out of their kitchens. No restaurant, no delivery app, no storefront. Just a post showing today’s menu, a DM to claim a plate, a pickup time, and $15–$40 in cash.
Entire pages are built around this, and demand is so high that some sellers sell out daily.
This isn’t Uber Eats or DoorDash. It’s strangers cooking for strangers, coordinated entirely through Facebook - and it’s quietly becoming normal.
Would you eat a Facebook plate, or is this too far?

In the first lawsuit of its kind, the city of San Francisco is suing 11 of the nation’s top food companies, saying they sell ultraprocessed food knowing that they are harmful to health. By some estimates, more than 60% of the food consumed in the United States is ultraprocessed.
A growing body of scientific research says diets high in ultraprocessed food lead to chronic diseases like obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and depression.

🎄 AI just gave chocolate-making a festive upgrade. 🍫✨
This AI-powered delta robot is redefining precision manufacturing — starting with pralines. Instead of chasing the chocolates, it sees, thinks, and adapts in real time.
Guided by computer vision, its base moves to align with each chocolate’s position while the arm stays fixed — a complete reversal of how robots usually operate.
What’s new:
Traditional robots follow pre-set coordinates. This one interprets what it sees, adjusting instantly — merging perception and motion into one intelligent system.
🎯 Why it matters:
It’s a step toward truly intelligent automation — systems that react dynamically to their environment, reducing waste and improving accuracy.
New possibilities unlocked:
→ Smarter food production and packaging lines
→ Real-time adaptive robotics in manufacturing
→ Precision handling of delicate or custom-made products
To me, this is where AI shines — not by replacing human skill, but by amplifying it through precision, adaptability, and creativity.
Would you trust an AI-powered robot to craft your Christmas chocolates this year? 🎅
