When your immediate reaction to the news of a teenage trans girl being stabbed nine times is to think, “Surely she must have done something to provoke this,” it’s clear that you are the problem, not trans people.
I’m glad so many people agree that the way Republicans are treating Sarah McBride is beyond the pale but I’m begging mainstream journalists to consider why they won’t defend trans people without a paragraph-long disclaimer - and how that connects to the way we are treated.
New workplace dystopia just dropped.
AI monitoring software now flags you if you type slower than coworkers, take >30sec breaks, or checks notes have a consistent Mon-Thu but slightly different Friday.

Before my current career, I was a rape crisis counselor and a victim-witness advocate, both on a professional and volunteer basis, for nearly a decade. I met hundreds of women who experienced a sexual assault. Only ONE was assaulted in a public restroom, and….
1. Nancy Mace has announced a federal bathroom ban proposal.
If it becomes law, it will impact major DC airports like Reagan and Dulles, and could snarl travel in the leadup to world pride, which is expecting over 3,000,000 LGBTQ+ visitors.

I have something to say to those folks who are "celebrating" that some kids can no longer access puberty blockers privately. I want you to know this.
Some kids are being forced into puberty, which neither they nor their parents want. They are petrified.
Some parents are now accessing puberty blockers from unregulated sources, and healthcare professionals will no longer support their children.
Some kids are now being privately prescribed alternatives to GnRH analogues, which are less effective and have significantly more side effects. In my opinion, one in particular is dangerous.
Some kids are travelling abroad to get their healthcare. Their parents are working day and night to be able to afford this.
So to all those "celebrating" - Well done.

Drill, drill, drill that into your head.
Hi friends!
I wanted to give a quick update on The Onion’s purchase of InfoWars, which we can’t wait to relaunch as the dumbest site on the internet.
Long and short of it: We won the bid and — you're not going to believe it — the previous InfoWars folks aren't taking it well.
A dementia drug based on a chemical discovered in an exotic type of snail was just invented. Studying the reproductive habits of insects has allowed us to increase crop yields.
You think you’re making a good point but you don’t even have the capacity to realize how dumb you are.
Yes it IS illegal!
"Section 22 of the Gender Recognition Act says that it’s illegal for representatives of public bodies, services, businesses or employers to share your previous name, gender history or trans* identity without your consent."

This afternoon I sent letters to @SexMattersOrg and @FWSSport raising information rights concerns regarding their recent campaign to gather data on transgender women who play women’s sports.
If they fail to send a response by one calendar month, or should I find their responses inadequate, I will forward these letters and my complaints to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
