Lab and @UNTScience members @larutaylor, @immortalwhat and @avery_e_pearson submitted awesome #GRFP proposals. So proud of them, and their labmates who gave great feedback! (Laura and Marie are looking for grad student opportunities for fall 2023, too.)
We finally got to celebrate these seniors (+ two years). Congrats @WoosterEdu class of 2020!! I really miss having @avery_e_pearson@CyperaceaHill & @Bumbling_along in the lab but they are doing such amazing things! A very special graduation/reunion!
Happy #InternationalWomenAndGirlsInScienceDay to all of the amazing women in their fields. Thank you for all you have graciously taught me along the way and letting me be a part of you journeys as well 🌻🐝💛
Always great seeing former students but today was extra special. Last time I saw @avery_e_pearson in person was when she turned in her IS in March 2020, just hours before campuses across the state shut down.
Our newest book “Common Bees of Eastern North America” comes out later this month. To celebrate we decided to give some books away. #giveaway
