The woman who needs help is a 100 percent disabled vet who is having her brother (vet as well) move in as he goes through heart surgery and then gets the recovery.

ALERT: Off-duty sheriff gets choked out by a bar patron after making an alleged unwanted advance on a 71-year-old Vietnam veteran's wife.

Jason Stickels, 44, was at Merk’s Bar & Grill in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, when he allegedly drunkenly stumbled up to an elderly couple at the bar.

Stickels, an off-duty Volusia County sheriff’s sergeant, approached the 71-year-old woman and can be seen seemingly trying to kiss her, which led her 77-year-old husband to intervene.

Stickels then batters the man before a bystander puts him in a chokehold and takes him to the ground.

Sheriff Mike Chitwood posted on social media condemning Stickles' “idiotic behavior.”

“I have a 77-year-old Vietnam Veteran in a bar with his wife, and what you see in that video is thoroughly disgusting; it’s sickening, and doesn’t represent what this organization stands for.”

Stickels was charged on two counts of felony battery on a person 65 or older and has resigned and checked himself into a rehabilitation center.

ALERT: Knife-wielding arsonist arrested after he tried to burn down a restaurant using a propane tank that was on fire.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida received a call around 8:45 AM about a possible assault or battery in progress, only to arrive at the restaurant full of smoke.

53-year-old Rubiel Maceo Castillo had lit a propane tank on fire and spread flames throughout the place and met officers while wielding 2 knives.

A deputy can be heard yelling, “Drop the knife now. Do it now,” before Castillo comes out of the building and is detained.

HCSO and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews successfully rushed to contain the fire.

Castillo has been charged with multiple crimes, including first-degree arson of an occupied structure.
