Aghast to see this happening under your government, @myogiadityanath Ji. Kindly ensure that professionals serving the State are not treated shabbily.
Same MBBS degree. Same internship. Same ₹10 lakh bond. Same compulsory government service.
Yet their compensation changes dramatically based simply on where the government posts them.
Medical college postings get Level 10 pay with DA, HRA, NPA and TA, often ₹1–1.2 lakh a month. Doctors posted to CHCs/PHCs can be left with just ₹50,000–₹65,000, without these allowances. Worse, NHM Medical Officers doing comparable work at the same facilities can earn ₹1 lakh or more.
The State cannot demand equal commitment under the same bond while attaching unequal value to the doctors fulfilling it.
Rural and peripheral service is already tougher in terms of infrastructure, accessibility and working conditions. It should not also come with a steep financial penalty.
If the bond is the same, the service obligation is the same, and the qualification is the same, the pay should not become a postcode lottery.

We have struggled very much to make our dreams come true. Now just because of someone's silly decision we will not make our dreams shatter. This is inhumane.
The decision of reopening of Medical colleges in Uttar pradesh is inhumane.
