meanwhile, at this job,the new job that they claim will most likely be mine, has yet to be posted but boss says later this week. And I won’t have to interview? But like…it would be nice to see the job

Another update is that a friend from an old job reached out bc she’s hiring for a state job, not fully remote but 4/5 days, it looks p interesting, and also THE STATE JOB IS GOING WAY FASTER THAN THIS JOB so that’s fun, I only applied about a month ago

@christonacrakr np! I also feel like, yeah there’s a chance I will try it out and hate it, but I’m ok with that weighed against the chance that I could be working toward a field that fits me a lot better than my current one!

@christonacrakr Weighed against 1. Will I be upset if I make less 2. How much am I tired of the work I’m doing vs the org vs coworkers/environment 3. Is there another viable option for me to try closer to what I like but with the expertise from my current field?

@christonacrakr my main questions were 1. How much money will this field pay 2. How much does the education cost 3. Can I do what I think I want to fairly easily or is that a pipe dream 4. Do I have a decent idea of what it’s like to do that kind of work (or the best I can w/o doing it)
