@IcchaSethi@github@nerdneha Thanks. Hopefully someone can provide some insight. Left more details in replies to the original tweet.
Going to try getting our Enterprise Support on the horn as well as I'm not getting traction on my Community post.
Do I know anyone @github?
Trying to see how the heck I can get "Verified" commit signatures within an Enterprise account using x509 issued by a self-signed root CA.
GitLab lets you augment the trust store. GitHub doesn't seem to.
@github Our goal, ultimately, is to be able to issue short lived certificates (say, 24h) to reduce the need for complex revocation and cleanup; as well as fresh certs per remote developer environment.
This seems impractical using existing trusted roots.
@github I mean, it feels like *some* org has to have already tried this? Or does every one of these organizations actually issue an x509 certificate signed by a trusted root to every employee during onboarding?
lmao I'm at a swim meet for a summer swim league, first one with this team. They just played the national anthem and then people cheered?? These are 8 to 15 year olds?? In a recreational swim league????
@vga256 But I remember fondly the days of chatting with other folks in IRC. It started as a channel to talk about NM but we developed a community of folks interested in the space in general.
@vga256 I'm glad someone found it useful. I'm sorry to hear about Geoff, and my condolences to you and those who knew him well.
I haven't been active in any MUDs, as a user or a developer, in at least a decade.
Anyone know if it's possible to authenticate with the @1Password desktop app from a *remote* 1password CLI? Think, ssh agent forwarding but for vault access?
Or do I need to do manual account signin?
So. Intl travel in 8 weeks. Just realized son's passport is expired. No appointments available. Can't schedule an "urgent service" until 2 weeks from travel, and no guarantee it'll be within driving distance or even completed in time.
How the fuck is it this hard.
@andymikefred We just decided to redirect this trip domestically. The lodging was bought with Chase points and they are great with cancellation. Can't deal with the anxiety, and also he's missed too much school this semester from other trips.
Even worse, @StateDept has ~30 post offices listed within 50 miles for passport services, but @USPS site only has 5 within 100 miles. I'm guessing a lot of post offices shut down passport services.
FML.
Every facility near by has no appointments for the next 4 weeks, and you can't schedule further out than that. And even if you did it's apparently 9 to 12 weeks lead time after the appointment.
