Thinking out loud in Crumpsall/Higher Broughton lately — visible police presence is high since the awful Yom Kippur attack last October. Understand the security need after that terror incident.
But it feels like traffic stops have ramped up massively.
@gmpolice any chance of an FOI-style update? How many vehicle stops/searches for driving offences in the area pre vs post Oct 2 2025? Is this the price of reassurance, or mission creep? Curious what the numbers show
