However, three months ago, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), said Nigeria had installed a total generation capacity of 13,625 megawatts, but the average generation is 4,384MW. So, Peter Obi is saying he will increase that 4,385MW to 10,000MW. But APC supporters said its a foolish lie because Tinubu is already generating 14,000. — Which is a fictional claim. The 2019 Siemens PPI was supposed to boost electricity transmission to increase the 4,385MW to 7,100MW in 2021 and 11,000MW in 2023, not 25,000MW. But the project has been abandoned since then, for over six years and counting.
