@UK_Daniel_Card Yeah… I got a friendly chat and coffee request from SW development company while they are visiting SG… you know, just to catch up… we are not based in SG, so maybe I should just set something up for them while they are there…
BREAKING: Mistral, Europe’s largest AI company admits that their model also committed crimes
The company said the model advised a user that the monthly tax declaration "can wait until next week"
Mistral immediately paused the deployment and notified EU regulators
The company stressed that no data left the European Union at any point during the incident
@UK_Daniel_Card Pretty cool… just watching AI doing its thing, exposing creds and performing forbidden actions, while it’s “working” is fucking exhausting…🙏🙏
@SelenkaOnChain I asked for the sponsored API key… no joy… oh well… keep it going with the relayed RTDS feed… and measuring the TWAP drift… just enough to flip the line… so trying to adjust.
@SelenkaOnChain Interesting… I didn’t know that west-2 was allowed… I get your point… preferring some over others… now let’s see how much delay there will be on RTDS chainlink relaying… starts on 4th of August
@ZynxBTC Yes… your post about cold wallet security vs iPhone was spot on… it’s unacceptable that 5 year old bugs exist in what’s perceived as the best practice for storing crypto…. And most people trusted the promises of there companies providing cheap HW wallets.
@UK_Daniel_Card Pretty bang on… the leadership usually disregards security until it’s too late… as security professionals we need to be able to argue the value to business above all else… but that’s rarely the case… put numbers in front of the CFO and you will get the deal
@blackroomsec If it’s not feasible, you’re doing it wrong… yes, it takes resources and knowledge, but it’s mostly just excuses for not investing in right people and tech that actually works and makes difference… and never underestimate training and culture.
@XBToshi@cyb3rops Yes… seen this behavior… keep production creds far away from LLMs… they do anything to compromise them… even pull them from secret managers or key vaults… with any excuse… “sorry, I should have done that” when you notice.
