Latest test: MERV 8 mechanical filters in a CR box. Particle removal results: at 0.3 um-3%, at 0.5 um-3%, at 1 um-21%, at 2.5 um-41% Bottom line: these filters are very ineffective at removing outdoor pollutants or SARS-Cov-2 particles. Not a good choice.

Definitely best practice to do rapid tests to confirm you’re clear before ending isolation. 5 day isolation seems to have been driven by politics; science still supports a 10 day isolation, earlier only with a negative test.
