She would act against her desires and beliefs as easily as Charles would his own. Not very. -

Cassandra is now launching stalactites at Erik like a missile launcher. The cave is shaking more like it might collapse on itself.

Cassandra is focusing on Erik personally at the moment, as his shields are very irksome (though the wall around the parasite continues to form).

Meanwhile, the vicious, ichor-dripping tendrils lash at Erik and Charles. Imagine what it would do without a serum running through its host.

With the two of them floating in the air as such, Cassandra can't really attack them. Sure, she could float up there since this is ~the mind~, but she doesn't think she'd do much damage with the way she is.

The tendrils lash out at the forcefield, hitting it with psionic force.

Cassandra can't do much with that herself, though she tries to reach for her abilities again.... Not yet.

A screech that pierces the mind echoes from the mass.

Another powerful telepath? It certainly knows who Charles is. So an excessive number of tendrils shoot his way.

@telepathbalance @arenosides Cassandra disappears then reappears at Charles' side, ready to attack him with nothing but her mental form.

The mass itself may be an even bigger enemy however. Its tendrils lash out like whips, aiming for both Charles and Erik.

Many fibrous connections between this mass and Cassandra's psyche have built over time, this thing rather latched in its place.

It's an ugly thing, but Cassandra gazes at it with an odd fondness.

It thrums, glowing in various sickly colors. Its skin appears slimy, maybe even poisonous, but who's to say in a place such as this? The -
