Market infrastructure for the Canton Network

[AvroFi @avrofi]

Excited to bring auction market infrastructure to @CantonNetwork with @redstone_defi

https://t.co/HvzT65CnOy

[RedStone ♦️ @redstone_defi]

2/ @avrofi's Dual Flow Batch Auctions need an independent reference to clear against, since a thin or imbalanced batch could otherwise settle away from the asset's current value.

RedStone supplies that reference: a CC price feed aggregated across multiple independent sources.

[Obsidian Systems @obsidian_llc]

Our work is based on the requirements assembled by the CIP-105 working group, especially @Cashen_cc, @HelixAssets, @avrofi, and @digitalasset. 🫡

This collaboration is a great example of the Canton community coming together to shape the future of the network.

Welcome new validators!

[AvroFi @avrofi]

Friction isn’t accidental.
It’s a feature.
Removing it changes who wins.
Canton Network reimagines the system...

[Canton Network @CantonNetwork]

Institutional markets don’t tolerate ambiguity.
There’s no room for mistakes.

Capital market inefficiencies persist because someone profits from them.

Canton was built to remove the friction.

Permissioned vs permissionless is a 2020 debate.
The real question is: can your system handle
private, interoperable capital at scale?
That’s where new ecosystems are quietly gaining traction.

[Mlvs @MlvsBznz]

Many people across CT saw the big @Canton headlines like Nasdaq, Visa, DTCC, HSBC and more, and immediately jumped to the same old “corpchain/permissioned chain” takes.

But look closer. A vibrant permissionless DeFi ecosystem is already taking shape across the ecosystem:

• DEXs: @temple_ny @tradecraftfi @Cantex_io @Kora_Protocol
• Prediction markets: @UnhedgedHQ + more coming
• Lending/Borrowing: @acme_markets @HelloMoon_io @mystic_finance + more coming
• BTC assets: @BitSafe_Finance @SolvProtocol @Lombard_Finance
• Native Wallets: @Send, @FiveNorthHQ Loop, @bronwallet, @cantor8 C8
• Stablecoins: USDCx @circle + USDT0 @tether & USD1 @worldlibertyfi coming soon
• Perps & vaults: coming soon
• Major cross-chain protocols are planning native Canton integrations or exploring @zenithfdn_old for EVM/SVM solutions & @LayerZero_Core @chainlink @KaikoData for interop/oracles.

Canton gives builders choice. Privacy where needed, transparency where wanted. The real world isn’t homogeneous; neither should crypto. The “permissioned vs permissionless” debate is outdated.

A platform that minimizes trade-offs unlocks real innovation and value. And it’s already happening across the Canton ecosystem.

As a quick reminder take a look at the ecosystem below, these are REAL partners. We are just getting started. @CantonFdn

We’re building on Canton Network.

A network designed for:
privacy, interoperability, and institutional-grade infrastructure.
AvroFi starts there.

Validators are helping strengthen the @CantonNetwork's security, resilience, and institutional grade operations!

[LayerZero @LayerZero_Core]

Canton Network is the home for onchain capital markets, processing $8T+ in RWAs monthly, $350B in daily U.S. Treasury repo volume, and adopted by 800+ firms.

LayerZero connects @CantonNetwork to every blockchain.

The Era of Interoperable Institutions has begun.

🔔 @Visa joins Canton as a Super Validator.

Banks and financial institutions can scale payments, settlement, and treasury workflows onchain within existing risk and compliance frameworks.

🚨 VISA JOINS CANTON NETWORK AS SUPER VALIDATOR 🚨

Visa is deepening its roots in blockchain industry, from launching the Visa Tokenized Asset Platform (VTAP) and expanding stablecoin settlement capabilities to milestones on @CantonNetwork.

@Visa is one of the most important financial institutions in the world, operating at the center of global payments with unparalleled scale, reliability, and trust. As the backbone of electronic payments for consumers, merchants, financial institutions, and governments, Visa enables trillions of dollars of value exchange annually across borders, currencies, and use cases.

Their stats are staggering:

➜ $595B+ market cap
➜ ~$40B annual revenue
➜ >$16.7 TRILLION in total volume processed (payments + cash) in FY 2025
➜ 4.9 BILLION payment credentials (cards/accounts) in circulation worldwide
➜ >220 countries and territories covered, and peak capacity of 65,000+ transactions per second

We can only imagine with this integration to the global synchronizer Visa may be bridging the world’s largest payment rails at massive global scale to @CantonNetwork. Their Super Validator is set a weight of 10. They now will sit at the same table as @The_DTCC, @Nasdaq, and @zenithfdn.

The future of money flows is programmable, instant, truly global, and clearly blockchain bound.

As Cuy Sheffield, @cuysheffield, Head of Crypto at Visa, stated: “Visa is committed to meeting businesses where they operate, and increasingly, that’s onchain.”

Where do we see the congregation of businesses meeting onchain?

[Canton Foundation @CantonFdn]

Welcoming @zenithfdn as a Super Validator on Canton (CIP-0091 | Weight 10). 🎊

Zenith is building the EVM execution layer for @CantonNetwork, letting Ethereum developers deploy Solidity apps on Canton without rewriting everything in Daml, while keeping Canton's privacy, compliance, and atomic settlement properties intact.

Two angles: Zenith EVM for developers who want familiar Ethereum tooling on Canton, and Zenith Stack for institutions that want their own customizable EVM environment with full control over permissions, fees, and compliance boundaries.

The key technical contribution is atomic composability, a transaction can span both a Canton-native Daml leg and an EVM leg, and either both succeed or the whole thing fails. Settlement is atomic, coordination is Canton, and there are no bridges in between.

As an SV, every milestone is tied to real usage on the network. Bringing Ethereum developers into institutional finance infrastructure.

Glad to have them governing the network!
