71kg on the scale today
heaviest I've ever been
still apromixately 9 more kg to gain, but at least I can see the light in the tunnel
eating around 2900-3000kcal a day, will have to add another 150-200 to keep gaining weight
it's quite a struggle with 4 meals a day and limited time for preparing food, but maybe 200kcals won't be so noticeable
DON'T get a sales job
I worked as an SDR for 4 months
decided to try out the sales route after getting CS degree
after all, everyone on X says tech sales industry is the best to collect the bag quickly
first month chill, learning about the product, shadowing other people
2nd month I start to cold call CEO's of companies myself
I would feel physically sick, stress response taking over, shaky voice, heart racing while dialing, hoping they will never pick up the phone
I went into the job with an idea that it will help me improve my social skills massively, help me be a more confident speaker
after 4 months of daily struggle I finally told my manager that it's not for me
don't blindly follow guru's advice on here
sales is definitely an amazing opportunity for 18-25 year olds straight out of college to make 6 figures quickly with unlimited income ceiling
but you need to have the right personality/mindset for it
I'm too introverted, I'm not made for sales, feeling like I'm wasting their time, interrupting them with a call they were not expecting in the middle of the day, feeling like I'm trying to scam them, trick them into booking an appointment.
maybe I will try sales later in life, but I'm talking strictly about inbound leads, no cold calling random businesses, that's not for me
great lesson
and I still enjoy watching reels of dudes cold calling people, it's just not for me
try shit, see what works and what doesn't
I don't even need to make a lot of money
give me a project that will fill out my day, that I'm passionate about and enough money to cover the bills and invest a little
my friend has won $15k on a lottery
he's participating in lot of different lotteries
but not in BS ones where you buy a ticket and hope for the best
his approach is "if it's something that I would buy anyway, why not participate"
crazy how a commitment to walking over 7,000 steps daily, no snacks between meals, and slightly reducing processed food eliminated 90% of my reflux/SIBO symptoms
if the unemployment is so high, what's stopping me from creating a business, hiring best talents from all over the world who can't get the job because they lack experience and calling it "internship", a great opportunity to gain work exp
my toxic trait will be applying to jobs I'm not qualified for, while working a job
I'm talking positions that require 4+ years of experience when I have none
literally no downsides, lower competition, higher salary, and if it doesn't work out I still have my job
@eCom_Amin fair, still going every other day, or at least 2x/week if I'm really tight on time
the reality of working 9-5 is that I get approximately 4 hours of the day outside of work and 1.5 hour gym session is a big chunk of that
10 minute workout upon waking up and I feel refreshed and ready to tackle the day
push ups, bicep curls, tricep extensions, squats, rows
bodyweight + 1 dumbell
it's so freeing knowing that I can challenge my body a little and not having to drag myself into the gym
