Prince Harry has left Balmoral without other members of the Royal Family and has arrived at Aberdeen airport.
The King is likely to make this same journey for the flight to London shortly.
Royal Mail says all stamps featuring the Queen remain valid for use.
“Following the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Royal Mail has confirmed that stamps bearing the image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II remain valid for use"
In the end, it would appear that many members arrived too late at Balmoral.
And it’s possible that only the King and Princess Anne, who were already in Scotland, were able to see The Queen in time.
Today our palaces will be closed. Our flags at the @TowerOfLondon, Hampton Court Palace and @HillsCastle are being flown at half-mast to mark the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
