關於前一陣子的台灣病——直指台幣匯率為台灣社會問題的元兇。 真的是如此嗎？ 很多人私訊我，希望我寫一點看法。不過在開始之前，我想先說清楚一件事：這篇文章不是要否認低薪、高房價或通貨膨脹的存在，而是想釐清，哪些問題真的能用匯率解釋，哪些不能。

如果我們把所有結構性的問題，都簡化成單一原因，不但無法解決問題，反而會讓真正該被檢討的制度，長期躲在陰影裡。

低薪、高房價、通貨膨脹，從來就不是簡單的一對一連連看。

我想了蠻久，看能不能用簡單的譬喻讓大家很容易聽懂，而不是賣弄各種華麗詞藻包裝詭異的邏輯來騙點閱。

首先，台灣央行控台幣匯率這件事我認為央行並沒有做錯。

低薪、高房價、通貨膨脹，幾乎所有的文章都想要讓央行戴上這個罪名，但你們沒有想過一直要把這個罪名戴上央行的人是誰？

日本勞工就沒有低薪問題嗎？韓國勞工就沒有低薪問題嗎？美國就勞工沒有低薪問題嗎？

如果你的低薪是因為台幣貶值，那麼我們試問，上一次老闆和你會談，跟你說你表現很好要給你加薪，所以你會覺得是因為台幣升值了嗎？
