@JeffPassan @JohnJHarwood No one fears a guy that walks a lot. Secondly, I love numbers. I kept up with all of my own stats when I was a kid, however this analytical approach misses the entire point of why baseball was the most popular sport in the US. Baseball is about me vs you.

@JeffPassan @JohnJHarwood Its what the number geeks want it to be. They come with all of these equations and tell people these are important. They cant swing a bat or hit a ball so they’ve changed the game to where the players are just real life representations of their formulas.
