@_OKJ__@iambeerd@dazaiel Jeremiah 1:5 presents God's knowledge of Jeremiah in connection with His deliberate choice and appointment of him as a prophet of Israel.
How do you explain Amos 3:2?π
@_OKJ__ Response: God created man good. Man decided to disobey God. And yet God sent His Son to die for mankind that whoever believes in His Son will be forgiven and not perish, but have eternal life.
It is the willingness with which we give, according to what we have, that makes our gifts acceptable to God, not the size of the gifts.
So if I claim to be willing while deliberately withholding what I am able to give, I am not willing.
2 Corinthians 8:12
@paulsfam4@IndianaBrunner Yes! Place of the dead for the righteous and the damned mean two different places.
For the righteous it used as Abrahamβs bossom, or Paradise, or with the Lord.
For the damned, it is a pace of torment. Both are called Hades; place of the dead.
@IndianaBrunner Hades is the realm/state of the dead, and the biblical picture of the intermediate state distinguishes between the blessed condition of the righteous and the conscious torment of the wicked.
