This is Hashima Island, Japan π―π΅.
Back in the 1960s, over 5,000 people lived here packed into giant concrete apartment blocks.
Then the coal industry collapsed, and almost everyone left within weeks.
Today it looks like an abandoned dystopian movie set.
Nature has slowly started taking the island back.
Plants grow through staircases, walls crack apart, and entire buildings are being swallowed by vines.
