To clarify, the rule he claims is UNFAIR has been universally applied across the footballing world since we first learned the game.

That is, until a US star player was shown a red card, which apparently meant a disadvantage for their next match.

Never one to accept the consequences of the rules, the rules must bend for him.

Their next opponent had better not be awarded a penalty, lest he might consider it “unfair” and demand the decision be rescinded. The rest of the world is told that FIFA referees are trained at the highest level to make these decisions.
