@MicuIustin @springboot@dotnet If you're not already, use a build of open jdk 16. Even MS have one now https://t.co/FwZi2fKqbF
If you're not using Kotlin then I recommend project Lombok https://t.co/5hRGDYyLtG
@MicuIustin @springboot@dotnet Maven problems? Stick to gradle IMO, it's faster & less seems to go wrong. Open in intellij, let it restore for you and run the bootRun gradle task via the UI.
@kev_bite You should be able to promote these to errors though right? I don't know whether this would be too annoying though. I remember back in like 2010 this async suffix was really helpful when we truly had a mix of sync & async IO so needed the overloads but not so much anymore.
@bryanl Actual fact. Great way to summarize this. Seen this first hand and moved on from otherwise great projects because of these people and their supporting cast. Real life negative assets.
@ModernVintageG I watched your video, really cool you wrote an accurate & fast Gameboy emulator so quickly! Did it pass all the blargg tests eventually? I did wonder why you didn't use something open source though?
@MicuIustin @VisualStudio When did you last try @JetBrainsRider? Been using it on all platforms and works really well. Resharper style key bindings & so much faster than VS.
