Capt. Tarandeep Bakshi, an officer of the Indian Navy, has allegedly sold a Navy J-24 sailboat of Naval Sailing team at INWTC Mum, by forging official documents and creating a fake destruction certificate, with the involvement of two junior officers. LtCdr. Aman Vyas & LTCdr. Pravin Prabhakar. Formal complaints with evidence regarding this matter were filed in 2023, & 2025 to HQWNC.
Adequate evidence & signed statement submitted to the Enquiry officer was constituted by Mumbai headquarters of the Navy. Yet no action taken by the Navy for this grave offence despite repeated reminders. No proceedings for Court Martial being initiated till date. The corrupt officer continues to hold office in the Sailing Directorate of Navy headquarters as hoodwinking with some internal dichotomy order of directorate and suppress enquiry and intimidate witnesses. This matter requires urgent intervention to safeguard the integrity and credibility of the Indian Navy. I request the Naval authorities to take swift action on senior officers who are shielding Capt Bakshi. Also Capt Tarandeep Bakshi should not be posted in any Sailing Billets of Indian Navy or YAI in future till he is a serving officer as there is high chances of repeating crime. It is actually very sad to see such brilliant institutions which proved their mettle in the past, getting systematically destroyed because of the greed and vested interests of few individuals who claim their proximity to the present political dispensation. The mess which has been created and which is likely to destroy this sport ultimately, MUST be cleaned by the concerned authorities by taking immediate and stern action. It is high time the @adgpi and the sports ministry wakes up......

All this is the result of the greed of one FATSO who is constantly advising the hierarchy and the MoD to file Appeals in all such cases recklessly which is actually getting his palms greased. Recently, a Court of Inquiry has also been ordered which is to be conducted by HQ Delhi Area in which this धरती पर बोझ was getting such Appeals filed surreptitiously by an Advocate of Delhi Court who is not on Govt panel but the sister of a JAG Officer who was supposedly to be made "son-in-law" of this धरती पर बोझ. When the matter was reported, that JAG Officer was hurriedly posted out to Assam Rifles so as to hush up everything and now when the matter is to be investigated, all kinds of spanners are being put by this धरती पर बोझ through his cronies.... It is high time that the said matter is properly investigated through some external investigating agency like CBI.
