Dear @TubbyToddBathCo,
I love you guys. Your products have been amazing in my short time being a mom.
But your diaper paste spray pumps need help.
Second one where about 1/4 through it stops working correctly and I feel like Iโm wasting so much product. Please help. ๐ฉต
๐บ๐ธ They were supposed to be temporary. They come back every September 11th.
The Tribute in Light first came on March 11, 2002, six months after the attacks, from a lot beside Ground Zero. A 12-year-old girl who had lost her father threw the switch.
Now they rise from the roof of a parking garage six blocks south of the site. 88 xenon searchlights, 7,000 watts each, set in two 48-foot squares. Same shape and orientation as the towers.
On a clear night they go about four miles up. You can see them from 60 miles out. A crew rebuilds and aims them by hand every year. After dusk they run until dawn. Every so often the lights go dark for about 20 minutes so migrating birds can get out of the beams.
Next week they go on again.
The Rangers broadcaster surprised by his wife and baby on air lost 10 pregnancies with her over five years. Twice he found out about a miscarriage within 30 minutes of first pitch. Both times he put the headset on and called the game.
His name is Jared Sandler.
The Rangers told him he never had to work on those days. He worked anyway, because calling baseball was the one place the grief couldn't follow him.
On October 1, 2023, the day the Rangers opened their wild card series, his wife Emily called to say she was pregnant. The team marched to its first World Series title while the pregnancy cleared every checkpoint the couple had learned to fear. Six weeks after the parade, at a Boston hospital, they lost Remi. The first baby they got to name.
Jared wears a chain with a stone for every baby they lost. The pink one in the middle is Remi's.
And through all of it, he ran a charity he founded that funds sports for kids with disabilities. Five years of giving other people's kids their best days while he waited for his own. When friends kept sending flowers and cookie deliveries after each loss, he finally told them to stop. "I don't want the pity, I want to hold a baby."
For five years the headset was where he hid his grief. On Father's Day it became the place his family ended it.

On the 24th anniversary of 9/11, we honor the lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the resilience of the American spirit.
America will never forget.
I had two weeks of events a break this week and then another training event next week. None of my customers have registered, only my partners. And Iโm stressed.
