The ancient union is an ancient lie. The British/English state under its pseudonyms of Great Britain and the UK, still believes that just by repeating that old lie loudly enough and often enough, it can make it into a fact. (This is a state that believes the truth becomes whatever it says!) It has been successful so far and so it still believes its lies cannot be challenged.
It is wrong.
Scots do not have to accept the giant pylons marching across our landscape to take our energy south. We do not have to accept their massive wind farms. We do not have to accept their monstrous data centres. We do not have to accept their dangerous and vast storage batteries. We do not have to accept the toxic salmon farms or nuclear subs or more nuclear power.
And Holyrood, legally the administrative arm of Westminster in Scotland, has absolutely no authority to accept these horrors on our behalf since neither Westminster nor Holyrood was ever lawfully granted the right to administer the sovereign territorial rights of the Scottish Crown/people.
The Anglo-British coloniser trusted that Scots would never challenge its claims of partnership, of a new kingdom of Great Britian, of lawful Westminster authority in Scotland. So far it has been proved right. But, at the same time it has gone to great lengths to avoid a territorial challenge on behalf of a Crown it hopes you do not know about, a Crown it pretends was replaced in 1707 by a single Crown, the fictional ‘British’ Crown that is somehow both the same English Crown that was established in 1066 and the new combined GB Crown ... It hides the truth behind half-truths and serpentine logic fuelled by its endless sense of entitlement.
Meanwhile the Scottish Crown inconveniently continues!! And this means?
It means that Scotland is a sovereign territorial nation. Why? Because instead of the new kingdom and the new state, England dismantled the Scottish state, renamed itself - without any pause or alteration - and 'extended' the English Crown over Scotland.
So two Crowns still remain. A kingdom is simply the territorial jurisdiction of a Crown. And so two kingdoms still remain, no matter what you have been told. (The kingdom of Great Britain, the one that was supposed to be created by the Treaty of Union, the one you were told replaced the kingdoms of Scotland and England, never came into existence. There is only England with Scotland added to its domains.)
Scotland's territorial assets are currently administered by the English Crown ('the' Crown). The ‘Crown Estate’ in Scotland? Still just the English Crown with some of its stolen Scottish holdings ‘devolved’. If you look, you'll find another British fable, the weird - and impossible - fable of aBritish Crown with a different constitutional character in Scotland from that of the Crown in England!! Impossible.
It is essential to be clear about this. The Crown is the highest legal authority across the so-called UK. But there is no single British Crown! There’s no one Crown with two strangely incompatible constitutional identities. There are two Crowns, two kingdoms and two nations and the Scottish Crown remains the true title holder to the lands and seas of Scotland. (And this is why Scotland remains a sovereign territorial nation.)
The Scottish Crown does two things: it vests title to the lands and seas of Scotland in the Community of the Realm (people). This is because the Scottish Crown is the legal identity of the Community of the Realm/people and no legal mechanism can take away the territorial sovereignty of the Scottish Crown or the title to the territorial assets which is vested, not in any monarch, but in the Scots themselves.
And that makes every deal to hand over the assets of the people/Scottish Crown to foreign corporations, Freeport consortiums or to any other part of the UK (England) null and void where permission has not been sought from the owners - us. No government in the so-called UK has the legal authority to do this. The British state has simply assumed an authority it does not have.
This is why the English Parliament passed a Petroleum Extraction Act in 1934 to ‘vest’ the oil and gas in the person of the English king (Crown) and why Blair moved the maritime boundary to take Scottish waters for England on the eve of devolution. Neither action would have been necessary if a real single Crown/kingdom/UK existed. One
What the English state and its proxies are doing in Scotland is called territorial alienation, exploiting, leasing or selling off the territorial assets which are the exclusive property of a distinct people. (Scots are already recognised internationally as a distinct people.)
And this continues - this piracy, this disposal of our assets and destruction of our environment and our future - because one fact, hiding in plain sight, has been buried in sly and grandiose British rhetoric.
If we come together in one 'Salvo Jure' campaign - saving the rights of all of (Salvo jure cujus libet!) - tapping into Salvo’s hubs and membership, creating alliances across every group and community that stands ready to take back our territorial rights, we can reclaim it all.
This is not romance, not a cry for ‘freedom which no good man gives up except with his life’. This is a simple assertion of a powerful legal right, a title vested in us in just the same way the territorial assets of the English Crown are vested in the constitutional persona of their monarch. (Not our king btw.)
It is a right that has been violated and is being violated because we did not know the truth - that someone stole our birthright with a lie. It is time to challenge the lie and take our birthright back.

Scotland had no national debt in 1707.
England had a vast one.

The 'Union' wasn't a bailout.

It was predatory incorporation - annexation disguised as English generosity.

If the leaders of the main independence party do not, in fact, genuinely want or, (which is much the same), believe in the possibility of independence - and that is pretty damn clear now - then that party is, (to quote a former MI5 agent turned whistleblower of my acquaintance), neutralised.

It remains neutralised as long as its members refuse to see the obvious and stops being neutralised if and when they clean it out and take it back. Until then while you talk of unity, the party high heedyins are briefing against the one and only international campaign to get them a clear road to safe and uncontested UDI ie no need for Westminster permission - Liberation Scotland’s campaign to get international recognition of the right to self determination. Ask yourself why, will you?

And one more thing. We are going to do this. It may not be all that far off now. Why is ‘Scotland’s party’ so totally uninterested, not just in our progress but even in the rights that already exist for Scotland in international law and that Westminster is denying, language rights, media rights, environmental and territorial rights. Why? They should be fighting for those rights, fighting for us. They are not. In fact they are joining in the disposal of our territorial assets. So who really owns this party?

I now believe the SNP leadership is so captured that it will lie to Scotland and pretend it still needs Westminster permission even when we get the recognition we need to regain our independence without it. And with negotiations revolving around reparations not Scotland’s share of Englands debt!
Why don’t you find out? Ask honest John what he plans to do if the UN General Assembly recognises Scotland’s right to external self determination. Ask him to tell you not whether he believes it will happen but what he will do if it does.

Well, well. The ‘alternative’ to an independence worth having so we can create a genuinely accountable political system, a truly Scottish, common good based economy and a just society is a federation under the same vine being-liberal system we have today. I did not want to believe this of you Pete but you’ve come right out with it.

And do you think that the territorial sovereignty of the Scot’s currently violated by Anglo British extraction of our resources and the use of our land as a base for everything unwelcome on England’s back yard would suddenly stop? Do you think there would be economic justice for Scotland? Or that the totalitarianism of English government could be replaced by the Scots - and international! - law we are supposed to have?

How many other SNP representatives and officials are looking to an enhancements of their roles in the U.K. rather than independence? It’s something we should know.

You know what’s scary? All we can really do is clear the roadblock. We can do what the SNP should have done decades ago (and are currently active fighting against!!!!) and show that Scotland has a right of external self-determination - even ‘recovery of sovereignty’ (meaning the union is a fraud and our sovereignty continues, never ceded). That means Westminster gets no further say in how we decide our future, But what then? As soon as that happens we will need a massive number of preparations and transitional arrangements ready to go. There’s nothing, absolutely nothing prepared by a party that neither wants nor expects this to happen. What will they do when we deliver? And we *are* going to deliver.
