they stole millions from the company about to be merged into paramount to make a batshit masterpiece about how movies can’t save the world
don’t get me wrong, i would love for this to been a hit, but FUCK the pocket watching. THE MOVIE GOT MADE!! THEY LOST WBs MONEY NOT MINE!!
Insane thing to ‘review’ a movie and your headline is to try and gut its theatrical release to prop up a streaming platform
A movie is always better experienced in theaters. Most unethical thing I’ve seen in a minute.
i never asked u to be my boss. i asked to be ur employee and u said yes. so if we wanna get technical, u had an employee and i didnt have a boss. im not saying what i did was right but dont try and make it into smtg bigger than it was
We will never experience a 24-hour film festival collapse like this again
In a span of 8 hours we got:
• Florence Pugh skipping the press conference to sip Aperol Spritzes in purple Valentino
• Harry Styles explaining that "my favorite thing about the movie is it feels like a movie"
• Chris Pine visibly soul-detaching from his body
• 10 million people on Twitter analyzing "Spitgate" frame-by-frame like the Zapruder film
The movie was an afterthought, but the press tour was pure cinema.
