Recently, we held “Experiencing Panterra,” which brought together industry leaders, financial experts and creatives for market intelligence disclosures and cross-sector networking.
Had an amazing time.
On the Global Business Report, @ARISEtv@Rotankwot to discuss the Panterra (@Northcourt_RE) ranking for real estate investment attractiveness in West Africa.
Thorough analysis. Nuance, communicated in style, per usual. Also nice being referenced (@Northcourt_RE) in the first piece on cement pricing and what it means for 🇳🇬
Tyro actually threw in Stigler for good measure 😂
I wholeheartedly recommend.
I’ve written a lot about him. This was from December (https://t.co/69tIb6B3W7) and this was earlier (https://t.co/2GHXpVLVo7)
He is a block on development because the govt has basically handed him control to a key input of civilisation and he has exploited it to the furthest extreme possible. He is by some distance the most profitable cement producer in the world and no one can confuse Nigeria for a place that has seen high cement usage.

1. Here are my top ten takeaways from Nigeria's federal government's budget of N47.9 trillion. The proposed spending represents 37% increase over 2024 amended budget of N35.06 trillion. While this appear to be highly ambitious, the quantum leap is directly attributable to Naira devaluation. Using the budgeted exchange rates for both years, 2025 budget amounts to $32b (N1,500/$) against 2024 budget of $44b, a reduction by 37%. So, blame it on the currency’s value! #FGNBudget25
