A Tennessee mother faces DUI and child neglect charges after investigators say she drove her SUV off a 25-foot cliff with her two young children inside.
Chase Ryan Klinedinst, 30, allegedly drove past a dead-end road in Chattanooga before her vehicle overturned near railroad tracks. Both children were hospitalized. One suffered a broken arm and bruised lung, while the other was treated and released.
Investigators say Klinedinst showed signs of intoxication, and two wine bottles, one empty, were found in the vehicle. She faces two counts of child neglect, DUI and vehicular assault and is due in court November 17.
