@RelentlesUsman @aurora_robots It's true that energy cost is the trade-off. But wheels hit a hard wall when terrain gets chaotic. So efficiency doesn't help when stuck in a ditch.
Hybrid wheel-legs let you roll to save power on flats, then step when it gets real 😉

My project, Design and Implementation of a Transparent Sub-Metering Solution for Multi-Flat Residential Buildings with Real-Time Monitoring Capabilities, addresses a common challenge in multi-tenant buildings where residents share a single utility meter and electricity bills are often divided using estimates.

An IoT-based sub-metering system that accurately measures each flat's electricity consumption in real time was developed. Powered by an ESP32, Arduino Nano, energy sensors, and cloud monitoring, the system gives each tenant visibility into their own energy usage, enabling fair billing, improved accountability, and better energy management. It also incorporates relay-based load control, providing a practical and scalable solution for modern residential buildings.

@aurora_robots If I had to pick just one, I'm going with legs because you can't roll a wheel over a boulder field or up a vertical drop.
But the real cheat code is the wheeled-legged hybrid. Roll fast on flats, step over the chaos when it gets rough. So why choose? Put wheels on the legs jhoor.
