I was just trying to say that just because someone lives in a shared apartment, they do not spend less than people staying in a complete building.

A shared apartment in Cambridge is more expensive than renting a 2-3 bedroom in hull etc.

Today a miracle happened that of course you will only accept that God did it and deserves to be praised.

A friend I supported got band 3 role with nhs in March. He was told point blank that they don’t offer sponsorship. Meanwhile his psw visa is expiring in June this year.

He took the risk and resumed. Last week after his training he spoke to his manager about the sponsorship not withstand that recruitment/ hr had told him no sponsorship. His manager also promised to speak with recruitment and she came back with the same response.

At that point he was hopeless and was already thinking of non existent plan B.

Just this afternoon he received email from HR asking him to confirm his details which he did not knowing what it was for.

Few minutes later, COS land for email with instructions that he should make sure he apply today being 8/4/25.

My people, God no dey sleep o!

My friend and brother is over the moon, he can’t believe this last minute miracle.

I know there are people right now that are very distressed with this COS situation, I was once there and I know what it means. I pray that God will come through for you all in Jesus name.

@Global_Dej Except your effective last day with them is end of the month e.g. your last working day is mid month while you have booked 2 weeks annual leave that runs to end of the month.

If the above does not apply, they would only pay you pro rata till your last working day.
