@TeamYouTube my channel has been falsely demonetized for 10 days due to “misleading family content”. My commentary content is targeted toward teenager/young adults and is marked “not for kids” under every upload. It’s an Automated system error. I request a human reviewer.
We are not just YouTube channels, we are humans.
I have one message to @TeamYouTube ,
You have no idea how much you have harmed the creators on your channel whether through channel removals, demonetization, incorrect classifications, or appeals that leave creators feeling unheard.
Creators go to sleep wondering how they will pay their bills after suddenly losing their income. They spent weeks or months waiting, hoping that someone will finally take a real look at their case. They watch their livelihood disappear because of a decision they believe is completely wrong.
And how many creators are still holding onto hope that someone at YouTube will actually listen to them?
Please consider the mental exhaustion that the creators are facing while dealing with this issue.
I have been asking for a genuine human review of my case since July 23rd.
50 days.
My ~200K-subscriber channel, which I have been building for 7 years, was demonetized for “Misleading Family Content.”
I appealed. My appeal was rejected. I contacted Creator Support. I explained my situation again and again.
I provided an appeal video specifically explaining why my channel does not fall under this classification.
I asked them to actually watch it. I escalated my case to a manager. And yet I continued receiving the same response:
“Reapply after 90 days.”
But what about the actual issue?
What about the classification I am disputing?
What about the appeal video I created specifically to explain my case?
What about having someone actually look at the content and understand its context?
This is not simply about losing monetization.
Behind this channel are 7 years of work, thousands of hours of effort, an audience of around 200,000 people, and a livelihood.
I am not asking YouTube to ignore its policies.
I am not asking YouTube to give me special treatment.
I am not asking YouTube to allow violations.
I am asking for a fair review.
I am asking for a transparent review.
I am asking for a genuine human being to look at the evidence when I believe a serious decision has been made incorrectly.
We understand that automated systems are necessary to manage a platform as enormous as YouTube.
But automated systems cannot always understand context.
Animation does not automatically mean content is intended for children.
A fictional character does not automatically make a channel “family content.”
And when an automated system or policy classification can take away someone's livelihood, there needs to be a meaningful way for that creator to say:
“Please look at my case again.”
Creators should not have to spend weeks fighting automated responses just to get someone to understand what they are actually saying.
I have already explained my case.
I have already appealed.
I have already provided the video.
I have already spoken to support.
I have already escalated to a manager.
All I am asking is that someone watches the appeal video and genuinely considers what I have explained.
I have experienced this before. A previous issue was eventually resolved after a genuine manual review, and my channel was re-monetized.
That is why I continue to ask.
Not because I want special treatment.
But because I know that a genuine review can make the difference between an incorrect decision and a fair one.
Behind every channel, there is a human being.
A human being who spends hours creating.
A human being who invests money, time and energy into their work.
A human being who builds relationships with their audience.
A human being who may depend on that channel to support themselves and their family. When YouTube takes action against a channel, it isn't simply changing something on a screen. It can change someone's life.
So please, @TeamYouTube:
Don't just tell me to wait 90 days.
Don't send me another automated response.
Please watch my appeal video.
Please look at my channel.
Please let someone who understands the policy and the context actually review my case.
I don't want a fight with YouTube, but I want to continue creating on YouTube. I simply want to know that when something goes seriously wrong, there is still a human being on the other side who is willing to listen.
Behind every channel, there is a human being. And that human being deserves to be heard.

Day 9 @TeamYouTube i decided to send in another in-studio appeal and when i go back to the earn page it doesn't say "your appeal is under review" as it didn't the first time and still says "Start appeal must submit by september 21,2026"
This is proof of a critical backend glitch that completely blocks the submission from cleanly registering in the review database. The form is resetting instantly, leaving me with zero tracking visibility, a frozen dashboard loop, and absolutely no in-studio policy feedback panels.
This loop is preventing a human policy specialist from ever seeing my file. On my previous attempts, my unlisted appeal videos sat at 0 external views (the 1 view on my current track is strictly me checking the link layout) while my support chat attempts just keep receiving the exact same copy-and-pasted auto-rejections.
The automated loop is completely broken. My channel track is entirely compliant—I am a hand-picked YouTube Premium Affiliate, every single video is manually self-certified for moderate profanity, and my channel demographics are 84%+ over the age of 18.
Please locate my Channel ID, bypass this broken dashboard interface, and manually verify that my appeal text and unlisted video are pushed to a HUMAN specialist. @YouTubeCreators@YouTube
YouTube is destroying creators careers overnight because they’ve went all in on AI that’s auto banning people for anything. They make $60 billion a year, hiring real reviewers would take less than 1% of their earnings. Love being a YouTuber and the platform but they need to get rid of this ai overhaul 🤦♂️
Similarly to many other creators in my niche. My appeal has been denied due to false violations. No specifications on where I’ve done wrong just that a “significant portion” of my channel is violating the rules. The channel that has been in the YPP for almost 4 years with no issues.
@TeamYouTube I need to speak to an actual human being about this because this is the same copy paste email many of my other fellow creators have received.
Anime,Cartoons, or just animation in general is not a form of entertainment that is STRICTLY for children. The same applies to literally every other form of media. It’s outrageous that this is even an issue effecting as many as it has been ,and there has been no word on it from you guys at all other than the same emails being recycled.
We are officially on day 7…Video up hopefully we can get a HUMAN over at YouTube to look at this in its entirety. @YouTubeCreators@YouTube@YouTubeInsider

It's kind of insane to me that one of the biggest creators in the niche, and someone who Youtube has partnered with in the past has not gotten a human to review his channel. @TeamYouTube@YouTube
My YouTube channel was completely demonetized for ban evading when I have no account that’s banned from the YouTube partner program
As you probably know many creators like Codenamesuper , Zephfire , Masokay have been demonetized falsely by ai for “misleading content”
Despite marking all their videos as NOT MADE FOR KIDS , but since masokay lives with me
Uses the same wifi , they mistook my account as one of his and banned me then denied my appeal without even watching it @TeamYouTube@YouTube
Please support and spread the word so we can fix this
Without any warning or discussion YouTube removed all monetization from my channel due to “Misleading family content”
I have been a partner for 4 years since March of 2022, and have not once attempted to mislead or misdirect any younger viewer because that is NOT who my content has ever been catered toward. I explicitly label each video as “Not for Kids” on YouTube studio as well as checking off all the necessary bubbles in the ad suitability section. My content involves adult humor, mild profanity, and depending on the media I’m commentating on maybe even mild violence. This has ALWAYS been the case for my channel. Creators shouldn’t have to go through this. @TeamYouTube please help me get this resolved.
So YouTubes AI has decided to completely demonetize my whole channel saying it’s no longer eligible for monetization because I post “misleading family content” which is completely wrong.
I’ve seen this happen with other content creators who react, commentate and even do animations themselves and there was a good portion that were able to get their monetization back
My channel has been running actively since 2023 where I cover mainly fighting anime couple with occasional live action movies and action cartoons. And each video I explicitly put NOT made for kids. But even then in no way does my channel portray sexual content and the violent parts of the video pertain to the show which is clearly displayed in the thumbnails and the shows characters are mentioned in the title of each video. Furthermore no ADDED clips are more violent or add any sexual element to the video regardless. PLEASE get a human reviewer on this NOW…. animation does not automatically mean for young minors/family friendly content and YouTube’s ai clearly can’t differentiate the difference. Thank you for reading.

Creators have been complaining for a long time, and their concerns have finally reached federal authorities.
YouTube has been terminating creators’ accounts with little to no explanation and seemingly no reliable system for resolving mistakes.
Now, the FTC is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against YouTube over allegations that the platform misled users about its content policies before suspending their accounts.
Meta also recently lost a multibillion-dollar lawsuit. No matter how you feel about Trump, his administration appears serious about holding Big Tech accountable when these companies allegedly mistreat their users.
What do you think about this?
YOUTUBE, CAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER US CREATORS?
EVERY DAY, A LOT OF US ARE MAKING TWEETS TO GET YOUR ATTENTION, AND YOU DON’T HELP US.
WE CAN SHOW PROOF OF EVERYTHING AND STILL GET NO HELP.
WHY ARE YOU TREATING US CREATORS LIKE NOISE?
WE PUT BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS INTO MAKING CONTENT ON THIS PLATFORM, YET WE GET NO SUPPORT.
DO YOU CARE ABOUT US CREATORS OR NOT?
WE NEED HELP. WE NEED ANSWERS. WE NEED HUMAN REVIEWS NOT AI REVIEWS.
I CONTINUE TO SHOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME EVERY DAY. I’VE NEVER SWITCHED MY STORY.
I DID WHAT YOU TOLD US CREATORS TO DO, YOUTUBE. I CONTACTED SUPPORT. THEY GAVE ME ANSWERS. I FOLLOWED THEM. NOW I’M THE ONE BEING PUNISHED FOR IT.
NOVEMBER 23RD, 2025: I asked Support if I could tell viewers to follow me on Roblox. They wouldn’t give me a straight answer.
NOVEMBER 24TH–29TH: I made CTA content for an in-game event → my channel went 7K → 25K SUBSCRIBERS → the event ended and I planned to return to normal content → TERMINATED FOR INCENTIVE ENGAGEMENT + OFF-PLATFORM REDIRECTING.
APPEAL DENIED IN 9 MINUTES.
Then DECEMBER 2ND, I asked Support if I was okay to continue using my pre-existing second channel.
THEY SAID YES.
I asked again. THEY CONFIRMED I WAS FINE.
6 MONTHS OF CLEAN CONTENT. 1K+ VIDEOS. POSTING EVERY DAY.
Then YouTube had its PLATFORM OUTAGE → 20 MINUTES OF FAILED UPLOAD ATTEMPTS → the channel was terminated ONE MINUTE AFTER MY LAST ATTEMPT → APPEAL DENIED IN 2 HOURS.
The appeal didn’t let me submit PHOTOS OR VIDEOS TO SHOW MY PROOF.
I spent the next month trying to contact YouTube on X.
NO HELP.
THEN JUNE 8TH CAME, AND YOUTUBE WIPED THE REST.
I had 6 other channels 5 had no content and just existed.
8 CHANNELS GONE. 3 I WORKED ON HARD. 5 THAT JUST EXISTED.
NOW I HAVE NOTHING.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
PLEASE REVIEW MY CASE. I’VE PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER FOR A REVIEWER TO TAKE A LOOK AT, TO MATCH WITH YOUTUBE’S OWN LOGS.
PLEASE HELP OTHER CREATORS TOO.
✅ REPOST — Help get YouTube’s attention.

@TeamYouTube The monetization I earned from July was completely stripped away after posting normally all month. Your Al falsely flagged my channel for having Misleading Family Content" on August 7th, and now my Google AdSense earnings are gone along with my YPP status. This is a false positive and I'm beyond worried and concerned. I haven't been able to get real human help from support since the beginning of all of this, just automated Al generated denials and incorrect information. Please escalate my case for an internal human review. I need help via DM
I’M LITERALLY FROZEN RIGHT NOW.
I was scrolling through my feed when I came across this. (See image)
YouTube’s support agents keep telling me, “See you in 90 days.” And after those 90 days, YOU WILL BE FORCED TO WAIT ANOTHER THREE MONTHS JUST FOR THEM TO EVEN LOOK AT YOUR REAPPLICATION!
There is no guarantee that you’ll be accepted after making changes because they don’t explain exactly what is wrong with my content. So I’ll make changes that they once again won’t like, AND THEY’LL REJECT ME AGAIN WITHOUT EXPLAINING ANYTHING!
SO IN TOTAL, FOR SIX MONTHS, I AM FORCED TO KEEP UPLOADING CONTENT AND SPENDING MY OWN MONEY, TIME, AND RESOURCES SO THAT YOUTUBE CAN KEEP MAKING MONEY OFF MY VIDEOS WHILE GIVING ME NOTHING!
THIS IS ABSOLUTE INSANITY AND 100% ILLEGAL!
Content creators, YouTubers, and everyone else on X, please repost this. YOUTUBE MUST SEE THIS OUTRAGE AND FIX IT IMMEDIATELY.
Content creators DESERVE transparency! @TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators
@TeamYouTube I believe I did not get the required support in case number [5-6586000041318] YouTube Support, so now I request a human reviewer to view my falsely demonetized channel If possible and reinstate my channel because I did not receive any proper reviews/responses
This is the message I’ve received from @TeamYouTube after constant hounding for the past 16 days, I’ve been demonetized for almost a month now and have gotten no REAL answers despite appealing and making a video appeal ALL to NO AVAIL. At this point I’m close to giving up
My channel was falsely flagged for Misleading Family Content without explanation. Other creators who received similar claims have been reinstated. @TeamYouTube I'd kindly request another review for consistent evaluation:
