The "Praying Wife" Deceit!

There is nothing as unscriptural as the belief held by many Christian circles that a "praying wife" and or a "praying mother" is essential for the success of the husband or the children.

American Pentecostalism had always sold certain individuals' experiences within the context of religion as the "new thing" that everybody must buy or key into in order to make it in life.
Capitalism's influence on true spirituality sold performative religious rites as the norm rather than the exception.

Intercessory prayer is valid and acceptable as a form of prayer that believers must engage in, but in true Christianity, an arrangement where the wife is forever on her knees while her husband barely knows the Lord is not acceptable as a form of worship.

An arrangement where the mother is praying fervently while the children are living a life of little or no regard to God is not the arrangement Jesus gave his life for.

Job made sacrifices for his children daily, but the devil still killed them like flies. He didn't train the children to make sacrifices for themselves and know God for themselves.

The responsibility for any relationship lies in the hands of the two people who are in a relationship and not on a third party.
Imagine that you introduce a young man to a young lady, but neither of them shows any interest, and you, as the third party had to beg, pray, force, cajole, manipulate, convince, throw tantrums, negotiate, cry, and plead on behalf of one party so that the other party can be patient and wait and bless or be warm to the party.
How do you think that kind of a relationship will fare?

Mothers who didn't raise their children properly end up having crooks for children. To compensate for this, they end up taking up religion to pray and plead on behalf of their children in the place of prayer.
Carmela Corleone, the wife of Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather, was a classic example of this.

A mother who raised her children properly would only bless them as they walk with God, and her children shall give her peace and become successful in all their endeavours.

Salvation is a personal thing, and having a relationship with God is a very personal thing. A father's faith cannot grant salvation to the son, a mother's salvation does not cover her children, and a wife's devotion does not count for her husband.

Again, A father, mother, or wife can intercede in the place of prayer for a loved one. Intercession could buy time, delay evil from befalling the individual, cause the person to be favoured to get a job, a contract, or a visa, but these are temporary fixes.

What God desires is to have a relationship with every one of us without any form of intermediary or proxy "standing in the Gap".
God does not want that GAP to exist at all.
All those standing in it are occupying an office that should not exist for that purpose.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Faith is a personal thing.

I have come across many men who say, "My wife is a prayer warrior; she is the one praying for me to succeed, and her prayers are effective over my destiny."

They say this when things are going well for them.

When things go sour for them in their career or business, they lash out at their wives, "Your mates are praying for their husbands, you are here pressing your phone. What is God saying? Tell me what the pastor said, pray that I get this contract, and I will buy you a car, etc."

I have seen wives who claim that it is their prayer that made their husband successful. This claim is a fallacy!

The first woman I know who made the claim was very fervent in the place of prayer. Her husband was an average person until he got an opportunity to travel to the USA.
When he got to the USA, he married another wife, and his wife in Nigeria stopped praying for him out of anger over being betrayed.
The man became richer and richer. The more the man became successful, the more this woman became bitter and resentful.
She felt God ought to stop blessing the man, but it didn't work that way, and the man was not a believer.

I see many people writing erroneously that their wives are their spiritual backbone! This is foolishness!
Nobody can be another person's spiritual backbone!

Ignorance makes people claim things that are not real as real, even though there is no scriptural backing for such.

I have seen wives who claimed that when they stopped praying for their husbands, he stopped prospering.
I have seen mothers who claimed that when they stopped praying for their children, they stopped prospering.
When I investigated the claim, it was a lie.

God did not put anybody's right to prosper in the hands of a third party. Your destiny is in your own hands!

If a wife's duty is to pray for her husband to succeed in life, then the man should marry many wives so that he can have a harem of prayer warriors lifting him up spiritually every day. Isn't that ridiculous?

Where we ought to train, we shouldn't pray! Parents must establish their children in a relationship with God (Not religion), and Spouses should establish their other halves in a relationship with God (Not religion).
Everybody must know God for themselves.

How can a man be expected to give an account of his life before God when his wife or his mother is the one who has been in charge of his spiritual well-being?

It is good to have a supportive spouse who prays with you and prays for you out of love, but this prayer is not to be taken as a substitute for the spouse having a relationship with God himself or herself.

I met a lawyer recently who was an orphan until she met this twenty-five years old man at the University of Ibadan at the age of 17.
She said she needed a mentor at the time, and he was in his final year and a member of the Christian fellowship she was attending.
He took an interest in her, and she leaned on him.

He graduated and kept in touch while she continued to study with the aid of a scholarship.
He didn't get a job after graduation and had to move back to his parents' house
She crowdfunded for law school and became successful through her hard work, grit, and relationship with God

She got a job, rented an apartment, and started building her career. This man, who started sleeping with her when she was nineteen, moved in with her.
She started feeding him and providing for him.
He told her she was his ministry
God had called him to be her personal spiritual backing, and without his prayer, she wouldn't have become as successful as she was.

This lady wrote to me asking if a born-again Christian who has a relationship with God needed God to give her such a man whose sole job was to pray for her while she makes the money and splits her earnings with him

She is very intelligent, but sometimes intelligence bows to manipulation without the right perspective.

Many Christians like her are suffering from the lies of prophets, pastors, spiritualists, marabouts, and spouses who convinced them that their relationship with God is inadequate in itself. "If not for my prayer and spiritual backing for you, you would not be this successful." This is manipulation at its best.

She was able to break free of him, and she is flying higher and higher daily in Christ today.

I have a relationship with God
You have a relationship with God

This is what true Christianity is: a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Some years ago, a Nigerian Christian man who went to Ukraine to study saw so many disheartening sights on the streets of the city on his way to and from campus.
There were many Eastern Europeans who were lost to drug addiction and other destiny-destroying vices.

This condition is the usual direction which people who find themselves without hope, freedom, the right to dream and pursue their dream head in human reality.

They ask questions about purpose and destiny. They know they were created for a purpose, but when the environment is not conducive to the purpose of fulfilment, escape becomes the haven of the weary.

In many cases, drug addicts get into the habit to escape the disturbing reality they face in real life. I should be more, become more, do more, do better, be better, and achieve something meaningful with my life are valid questions every individual poses to himself or herself at one point or another in this world.

These internal struggles, especially when there are no obvious answers or hope of an answer, would usually lead people into vices.

There are several ways to ease this condition; you cannot help every individual to fulfil their destiny. That duty is sancrosanct and personal, but you can offer a conducive environment for their aspirations to find an expression and a possible route to fulfilment.

The government is usually expected to do this. Create an enabling environment for the citizens to become whatever it is that they aspire to be.
When the government fails to do this, the citizens become frustrated, and the end result is that some of them would seek thrills and escape through drugs.

This was the condition in Ukraine in the 90s. The young Nigerian man was, however, a Christian. He understood that there is a divine destiny that does not need government policy to find fulfilment. This destiny is in Christ, not religion!

He began to witness to the drug addicts on his free days. He would show them love, assure them they could beat the trappings of their drug problem and show them the power of the word of God in rehabilitating them and setting them on the right path.

Within months, he had a group of people who believed in his message of hope and thronged to him on campus and on the street.
This was how he started a church.

Eastern Europe had been under the heavy influence of the Soviet Union and its "No God" policy for several years.
The government was at first skeptical of this young man's moves, but they turned a blind eye when they realised that he was curing the ills in their society and getting a lot of people off their drug habits.

The gospel he preached was Christ.
What Jesus came to do
What Jesus has done
The implication of what Jesus has done for every man and woman
What the Holy Spirit has come to do for anyone who believes in Jesus and accepts HIM as Lord and Saviour
The power that the believer has from the moment he or she becomes anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit
The supernatural life and realities of every believer.

This gospel was revolutionary in a country that had long declared that God was dead.
It changed the lives of millions of people.
The news of the exploits of this man went global within a few years
Many pastors started using him as an example to their missionaries and young pastors
His church was full of "White" folks who had valid testimonies and infallible proofs of their transformative destinies in Christ.

This pastor then came to Nigeria to see some of the biggest ministries in Nigeria and learn one or two things from them.
He didn't write to any of them to introduce himself
He wanted to attend their services as a believer and glean from the wealth of their knowledge.
His experience was shocking.

He saw that Nigerian pastors at the highest level were not preaching the gospel
They were teaching people about family battle, evil pattern, evil arrow, family deliverance, witches, witchcraft, voodoo, juju, sorcery, divination, glory thief, dream life, spirit husband and spirit wife, Queen of the coast, village people, enemy of Father's house, Strongman of mother's house, quarterly deliverance, fasting for anointing, seed sowing to be able to prophesy and all sorts of things that filled the minds of their members with the consciousness of the devil, evil and darkness and nothing of any value about Christ and His finished work on the cross.

He couldn't hold back his criticism, which was posted all over social media and YouTube.

A lot of Nigerian Christians have, through the teachings of these so-called pastors embrace a strange mindset full of fear and unproductive activities, which has become a substitute for the drug addiction epidemic he saw in Ukraine when he travelled there as a student.

Prayer books were being written and sold to people who then end up learning all these demon-inspired prayer points that have nothing to do with their destiny in Christ.
He bought some of the books and saw prayer points like "Every market where my glory is being sold at night, I shut you down" and so on.
How do prayers like this inspire the believer to walk in the fullness of the power of the gospel?
How can any demon ever aspire to sell the glory of the believer, which Jesus gave to Him in John 17?
Will a demon sell the glory of Jesus?

The way these pastors interpret the bible to their congregation is so twisted that it has produced a morbid and gory mindset in their members.
This mindset then reinforces what they were being taught in their dreams and life experiences.

These Christians suspect everybody of trying to hurt them or being possessed and are quick to run to their pastors for deliverance, even though they are full of the Holy Spirit and should be the LIGHT delivering the unbelievers from darkness.

The final blow was how the believers don't know they are saved and are always begging God to count them worthy of salvation or entry into heaven instead of acknowledging that they have eternal life and have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Unfortunately, the religious industry in Nigeria is a trillion Naira juggernaut that cannot be stopped.
The church leaders continue to milk members by preying on their fear of the enemy, an imaginary evil forces and the wrath of God.

The believers in the Bible were addressed as SAINTS in all the epistles, but the believers in Nigeria are always praying and begging for forgiveness of sin because they see themselves as sinners.

It was as if the leaders of the churches in Nigeria deliberately set up their ministries to teach a distorted version of the gospel so that their members would never really enjoy the liberty and power that Jesus purchased for them with his blood.

Sin consciousness, devil consciousness, enemy consciousness, evil consciousness, and hell consciousness were what the average Nigerian Churches feed their members.
No wonder they are so powerless.
Some of them are scared of cats, cockroaches, wall geckos, snails, and other things, and often attribute evil omen to these things if they see them in real life or in a dream.

PS: The average Nigerian Christian should pick up the Bible and read it plainly for themselves.
Read with the mindset that the word was written to show you who you are and your true destiny in Christ.

Once you discover the truth, throw away all the books, teachings, and totems reinforcing your old belief system.
Flush your system by praying in the Holy Spirit and reading the Bible daily.
You will find your body full of light and your spirit ascending into the places predetermined for you in Christ in no time.

To The Mistresses, Not Wives

You know you really didn't feel at home in this marriage
It didn't feel like your final bus stop
We can all see it in your behaviour every day
You are the kind of woman who desires that your heart should be won daily
The mistress, like Circe, who put the man who dared to love them into servitude

The word "settle down" is alien to you
You took the ring and did the wedding ceremony for clout
Inside of you, there are still many miles of adventures you must journey through alone
Being with this man was just one of your "to-do" stuff

This is evident in the way you cling to your past
You never really left your parents, especially your mother
You stuck to her like a monkey to a tree
You are doing the same with your siblings
Marriage for you is a one-leg-in, one-leg-out reality
You dare not give your all, you dare not lose yourself

Your surreound yourself with friends who are "independent."
They are your role models, your next step
Many of them are dating married men or functioning as single parents
You know your marriage will end
You signed a "till death do us part" contract, but you are here for the thrill and working on your exit strategy

This attitude is bleeding all over the marriage
You give whatever you have to give on the surface
Getting pregnant and having children was part of your plan
Your husband didn't know this, but your strategy was self-preserving

You were in a dash-in-and-out marriage, while your husband thought you were both in it for the ever after
You manipulated him so easily
To you, he is a simpleton, someone unworthy of sharing the rest of your life with, but he will pay heavily for the times and seasons he got to spend with you

You never really could love your children the right way
You have them as a prize, but for your plan to work, you cannot truly love them
Compromise is weakness, and you are on the clock as you race towards your cash-out from the marriage
The children are your emotional hook into your husband's fortunes

Your husband works hard every day to please you
He knows you were never fully in, and he is committed to convincing you to stay
Men know when they are truly loved, so do women
You feel loving him would only make him take you for granted
You can't be hurt if you don't love
Love weakens the strongest of resolves

Your victim game is forever an A
You are the first to run to the pastor, the parents, his friends, and his employers
You feel the need to recruit people in your social circle to pressure him to do your will
It is a smoke screen, your accusations that help to hide your true motivation

You cannot see anything wrong with your behaviour
You are a predator, you lay eggs, and you have no mammalian instinct
You can eat your young if push comes to shove
You live for yourself, and this is why independence is key to your existence

This is why you love your career
It is not a contribution to humanity or a way to support your husband or defeat idleness
Predators must hunt their own food
Predators must adapt
To a predator, every animal apart from members of its biological family is fair game
You can't help who you are
It is your nature

Unfortunately, males are never like this
They cannot be
The predatory instinct for the male is marked by external aggression
The predatory instinct for the female is marked by manipulation, adaptation, and deception
You are what you are, you don't see in green
It is not your fault that your husband couldn't see you for who you truly are

You can defeat this nature, especially if you are a Christian
There is a nature that has been empowered to supplant your predatory nature
If you embrace it, you can truly live and be a blessing
If you don't, those who love you will always end up in pain
Many will treat you with grace, but you will end up stinging them with your venom
You can be better, you can do better
The question is, do you want to?

Better to go spiritual. That way, the son-in-law cannot be directly held responsible for how God resolves this matter.
Or he forfeits the property and allow peace reigns, and never go into business deals with that family.

However, she has not looked at the decline in status from being a wife to a single that is now hustling for any available man, especially when it is a voluntary decision.

We welcome all perspectives that contribute to a shared understanding and successful implementation of the new tax laws. We acknowledge that a few points raised by KPMG are useful, particularly where they relate to implementation risks and clerical or cross-referencing issues. However, the majority of the publication reflected a misunderstanding of the policy intent, a mischaracterisation of deliberate policy choices, and, in several instances, repetitions and presentation of opinion and preferences as facts.

𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

A significant proportion of the issues described as “errors,” “gaps,” or “omissions” by KPMG are either:

- the firm’s own errors and invalid conclusions,
- issues not properly understood by the firm,
- missed context on broader reforms objectives,
- areas where KPMG prefer different outcomes than the choices deliberately made in the new tax laws, and
- obvious clerical and editorial matters already identified internally.

While it is legitimate to disagree with policy direction, disagreements should not be framed as errors or gaps. KPMG would have been more effective if the firm adopted a similar approach like other professional firms who engaged directly providing the opportunity for clarifications and mutual-learning.

It is equally important to distinguish between policy choices designed to achieve the reform objectives and proposals that merely represent a firm's preference.

𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬

1. Taxation of Shares and the Stock Market

Contrary to the presumption that the new tax provisions on chargeable gains would trigger a sell-off on the stock market, the fact is that the applicable tax rate on share gains is not a flat 30%. The tax framework is structured from 0% to a maximum of 30%, which is set to reduce to 25%. Furthermore, a significant majority of investors (99%) are entitled to unconditional exemption, with others qualifying subject to reinvestment.

The market's performance, which is at an all-time high with increased investment flow, demonstrates investors understanding that the tax changes will enhance the fundamentals of firms both in terms of profitability and cash flows. The sell-off narrative is unsubstantiated as any disposals in December 2025 would have benefited from the re-investment exemption or enhanced deductions under the new law.

2. Commencement Date and Transition

The suggestion to set the commencement date as the start of an accounting period (e.g., 1 January 2026) takes a narrow view of the complex transition issues. A wholesale reform affects myriad issues beyond the accounting period, spanning multiple periods, different bases of assessment (preceding year, actual year), as well as issues related to audit, deductions, credits, and penalties. Limiting the commencement to a single date for accounting periods would fail to address the intricacies of continuous transactions and other transition matters. KPMG’s proposal is therefore not a “gold standard” to be applied to all new laws as suggested.

3. Indirect Transfer of Shares

The new provision to tax indirect transfer of shares is a policy choice aligned with global best practices and BEPS initiatives. Its objective is to block a long-exploited tax loophole by multinationals and other investors, not to affect competitiveness. This is a common provision in international tax, and the assertion that it may affect the country's economic stability is disingenuous.

4. VAT Exemption on Insurance Premium

KPMG's point regarding a specific VAT exemption on insurance premium is technically unnecessary, as an insurance premium is not a "taxable supply" defined under the Nigeria Tax Act. Insurance relates to risk transfer, not the supply of goods or services subject to VAT. As this has always been the administrative and legal position, a specific amendment for exemption is academic. If it is not broken, don’t fix it.

𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐲 𝐊𝐏𝐌𝐆

5. Inclusion of 'Community' in Definition

The concern about the inclusion of “community” in the definition of a ‘person’ but its omission from the charging section does not constitute a gap or ambiguity. In statutory interpretation, definitions provided in the law apply wherever the defined term appears, unless the context requires otherwise. Hence, ‘person’ and ‘taxable person’ are used in the charging section, and both definitions include ‘community.’ This approach is consistent with modern legislative drafting principles, which use comprehensive definitions to streamline operative provisions and avoid redundancy. This is similar to the inclusion of partnerships and executors in the definition but not under the charging section. The use of the word “includes” further signifies that the list of taxable persons is not exhaustive.

6. Joint Revenue Board (JRB) Composition

The composition and mandate of the Joint Revenue Board (JRB) are intentional. Its policy advisory role is specifically to provide a subnational tax and revenue perspective that complements the fiscal policy mandate of the Ministry of Finance. Its membership is appropriately limited to revenue-focused agencies, which is why it is called the Joint Revenue Board. This is a similar composition under which the former JTB operated effectively, and its functions remain consistent with the need for inter-agency coordination.

7. Distinction in Dividend Treatment

KPMG's analysis appears to mix the distinction between a foreign-controlled company and a foreign operation of a Nigerian company. Dividends distributed by a foreign company cannot be "franked" since no Nigerian Withholding Tax (WHT) would have been deducted. Section 162(1)(s) confers exemption on dividend, interest, rent, or royalty derived from outside Nigeria and brought into Nigeria through approved channels. The choice to treat dividends distributed by Nigerian companies differently from foreign companies is a deliberate policy choice, as they are fundamentally different for tax purposes.

8. Non-Resident Registration and Final Tax

The view that a payment subject to deduction as final tax should automatically exempt the non-resident recipient from tax registration misses a critical distinction. While the law conditionally exempts passive income from registration, the deduction of tax on non-passive income is not synonymous with an exemption from registration or filing of returns. The same way that residents are required to file returns on income such as interest (in the case of individuals) and dividend where WHT is final. Returns serve a broader purpose beyond solely generating tax revenue.

𝐊𝐏𝐌𝐆’𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬

9. Tax on Foreign Insurance Premiums

The proposal to exempt foreign insurance companies from tax on premiums from insurance written in Nigeria to deepen penetration, while local insurance companies continue to pay tax, would be detrimental to the domestic insurance sector. This would create an unfair and harmful competitive disadvantage for local firms in their own market. The current policy is designed to protect and promote local industry and ensure a level playing field.

10. Parallel Market Forex Deduction

The new law disallows tax deduction for the difference where a business buys foreign exchange in the parallel market at a premium over the official rate. This is a critical fiscal policy choice designed to complement monetary policy, strengthen, and stabilise the Naira. By removing the tax subsidy for patronage of the parallel market, the policy aims to reduce incentives for round-tripping and redirect legitimate FX demands to the official market. This is policy congruence, not an error.

11. VAT Compliance-Linked Deductibility

The non-tax deduction for taxable transactions on which VAT has not been charged is a necessary anti-avoidance measure. It removes the advantage that some taxpayers previously enjoyed by patronising suppliers who evade VAT. This is a matter of fairness and is squarely within the control of a business to manage, especially given the provision for the self-charge of VAT. It also ensures that responsible businesses play their part in promoting voluntary tax compliance across the ecosystem.

12. Progressive Personal Income Tax

While KPMG acknowledges the reform objective of fairness and progressivity, the firm disagrees with a top marginal tax rate of 25% for the highest earners. In reality, the effective tax rate can be as low as 22% for an individual earning billions a year simply by contributing 10% to pension. This rate is competitive when compared to many other countries, including Angola 25%, Egypt 27.5%, Ghana 35%, Kenya 35%, the U.S. (Federal) 37%, South Africa 45%, and the U.K. 45%. So, the rate is not “oppressive” or one that will negatively affect economic growth as claimed, rather it ensures progressivity without compromising competitiveness. From a broader policy objective perspective, the increase in top marginal rate for high income earners and the reduction in corporate tax rate is designed to address the existing higher tax burden associated with business formalisation.

13. Police Trust Fund

The Police Trust Fund was signed into law on May 24, 2019, with a six-year lifespan under section 2(2) of the Act, which ended in June 2025. Therefore, KPMG's point that the new tax law should be amended to repeal the taxing section of the Police Trust Fund Act is needless, as the provision no longer exists.

14. Small Company Verification

The analysis concerning the tax exemptions for small companies affecting large companies' obligations is not a new issue or an inconsistency in the new law. The small business threshold was introduced via the Finance Act 2021. This issue pre-dates the current tax laws and should not be presented as an error or omission simply by virtue of a higher tax exemption threshold under the new law.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐏𝐌𝐆 𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭

While acknowledging the objectives of the reform, KPMG could have highlighted the major structural improvements under the new laws, including:
- simplification and tax harmonisation,
- the scope for reduction in corporate tax rate from 30% to 25%,
- expanded input VAT credits for businesses,
- tax exemption for low-income earners and small businesses,
- elimination of minimum tax on turnover and capital, and
- improved investment incentives for priority sectors.

A balanced assessment would have recognised these transformative elements, among others.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝

The tax reform is the result of an extensive consultation with various stakeholder groups in addition to the legislative process that included widely publicised public hearings, avenues intended for all stakeholders including international firms to provide technical expertise at the formative stage.

In any comprehensive overhaul of a nation’s tax framework, clerical inconsistencies or cross-referencing gaps may occur, and these are already being identified within the government. The tax reform represents a bold step toward a self-sustaining and competitive Nigeria.

An effective review needs to connect identified gaps to clear policy intents and the reality of modern-day tax systems within the context of economic development and global competitiveness.

At this stage, the effectiveness of the tax law depends on administrative guidance, clarifications from the tax authority, and regulations to complement precise statutory provisions where necessary pending future amendments.

We urge all stakeholders to pivot from a static critique to a dynamic engagement model, which allows for clarifications and a productive partnership in the implementation of the new tax laws.

Testimony Time!

My younger brother decided he wants to get licensed to drive a big rig.
So, he enrolled in the driving school and on the day of the final test, instead of the amiable female instructor he was expecting, he was assigned an Indian man!
Everyone panicked, the man was close-faced, didn’t respond to greeting just nodded him towards the truck.
My brother is filled with the Holy Spirit and so is his wife, and he said to me, “Dee Baby, I was not moved!’ Anyway, they got in and within 3 minutes, this guy slept off! What? He was snoring please!!!
45 minutes of driving around the busiest part of Dallas and he didn’t wake up till five minutes to end the testing!!!
He gave my darling brother a glowing report and his license has been mailed and delivered!

Let me add my testimony

My friend’s mum, though old, developed various organ malfunctions, fluid in the lungs, ovarian cancer, an enlarged heart, and so on. I was really disturbed because I learnt how much this woman suffered in her life. She lost her children in an earlier marriage and had to become a cleaner to make ends meet.

In summary, this seemed to be the time for her children to start caring for her, and then this malfunction began to reappear.

When I attended the convention in October, that was my main prayer, after three rounds of chemotherapy- the cancer markers had reduced to CA-125 from the previous value: 358.34.

I want to thank you sir, for believing in the call of God over my life. I must say that there have been many down times in this ministry journey, times where I wanted to take the back seat beacuse of the way I feel sometimes. However, when I remember your own story and see how you support this vision, there is an instant supernatural reset that make me put aside how I feel and rise again with renewed committment to the vision. I have never and will never regret it.

I might not thank you every day but, the value and impact of your minstry on my life and minstry is evergreen. I am eternally thankful to God and to you for how you have watered and encouraged me through the years. I appreciate you very much sir.

Rabbi! This year was a great year of ministry. I feel like i literally just began ministry proper this year. I applied the counsel you gave me last year in a unique way this year and the result where mindblowing and glorious.

This year the Lord increased us steadily by giving us the key to the city where tennagers were concerned. This wisdom we used to enter 3 different secondary schools with ease and our feets are planted there.

The undergradutes I nurture get to be trained hands-on, as they dispense as Nurture2grow teachers in this various schools.

We have 30 scholarship students across 3 schools under our scholarship scheme, and close to 100 students arcoss board being nurtured actively, twice every week.

We ended the year with a conference that had close to 70 teenagers in attendance and it could have been more if we had not restrain our hand due to logistics.

We saw the manifest Glory of God and the destinies of many were set on course. In the year 2025, we saw the vision prevail.

Ese sir! Ese gan sir, Modupe lo wo yin. I am grateful that you responded to the call of God. I am thankful to God for calling you and making me a part of GSWMI. You are a blesing and a huge gift to me sir. Your teachings are invaluable!
