Calling all Narrative Designers & Game Writers! 🕵️♂️✨
I’m currently developing Hidden Files, a new detective game where every clue and dialogue choice matters.
Right now, I’m looking to connect with fellow storytellers to brainstorm, exchange ideas, and talk shop about crafting great mysteries.
What makes a detective game’s story truly unforgettable for you? Drop your thoughts (or your portfolio/socials) below—let's connect! 👇

@nishant_zk@SmartJellyAI Love the transparency in how you laid this out, Nishant. Respect the solo founder grind! I have my hands full building my own game & apps right now, but wishing you the best scaling @SmartJellyAI—dropped a follow to follow the journey! 🤝
@Inaya_twts Couldn't agree more! Nothing beats having a feed full of people actually shipping code. Solo dev here from Türkiye 🇹🇷 building a dark detective game and mobile apps. Dropped you a follow, let's connect! 👋
@alexisjarre0 €50K/month fully bootstrapped in 8 months while studying is insane execution, Alexis! 🔥 Huge congrats on landing in SF. I recently bootstrapped my own transition into full-time solo game & app dev—super inspiring to watch your journey. Dropped a follow, let's connect! 🤝
100% spot on, Tasorn. Shipping early is the ultimate form of validation—real user feedback beats assumptions every single time. What are you currently building?
Hot take:
Most solo devs fail not because their code is bad, but because they spend 6 months building in secret instead of showing ugly prototypes on Day 1.
Perfectionism kills more startups than competition ever will.
Agree or disagree?
Every major AI model update wipes out another 1,000 "AI wrapper" startups overnight.
With models now handling 1M+ token contexts and autonomous multi-step coding out of the box, thin wrappers have zero moat left.
Honestly, this is why I love building video games and deep utility apps right now. AI can speed up my code and workflow 10x, but it still can't replace human taste, atmosphere, and genuine storytelling.
In the age of autonomous AI agents, what do you think is the ultimate moat for solo founders?
Need your brutal feedback on my detective game's art direction.
Which screen hooks you more into the mystery at first glance?
The character dossier notebook (Left)
The detective's desk & evidence board (Right)

@darrxgh 7 launches in 7 days sounds like an insane amount of coffee and shipping! ☕🔥 Love the advent calendar twist.
Wishing you the best with the prep—excited to see what you drop first!
I’m 25. Solo dev and founder.
I spent years as a game dev at big tech while building side projects at night, and a few of them actually paid off.
This year I quit to go full-time on my own thing. Still not sure if walking away from a safe paycheck was the right call.
Looking to connect with more marketers, indie hackers, and developers.
What are you building right now? Drop it below so we can connect.
Hey Darragh, great to connect! 🤝
A mix of a couple of utility mobile apps and some B2B software tools I built on the side. Nothing crazy, but they scaled enough to fund my transition into full-time indie game & app development!
Just followed you back—what are you building these days?
Google just dropped Gemini 4 Argon, and one stat is flying completely under the radar:
It supports long decoding of up to 1M output tokens in a single response, at $2/$10 per million tokens.
Google literally used it internally to untangle a 6-million-line legacy folder inside Chromium—finishing months of architectural refactoring in weeks.
As a solo game dev and founder, this changes everything. Tasks that used to require a 10-person engineering team can now be handed off to an autonomous agent overnight.
Have you tested Gemini 4 Argon on your codebase yet? How is it holding up against your current stack?
9:30 AM at Big Tech: Sitting in a 45-minute standup meeting talking about a button color while waiting for 3 different approvals.
9:30 AM as a Solo Founder: Coffee in hand, deep in the engine, building features that actually ship today. Zero meetings. 100% ownership.
The stress is definitely higher on your own, but I wouldn't trade this morning feeling for anything.
Builders—are you team early morning deep work, or late night coding?

@ReadAIRU Appreciate it! Just followed you back 🤝
Bridging the gap between AI and non-tech folks is a massive opportunity right now. Looking forward to following your journey—let’s definitely grow together!
