To my utmost delight I just found out from a friend that @flyjinnah is starting Islamabad Lahore direct flights from 1st May. Decades ago this sector was served but then slowly these flights were phased out because of motorway and ground transport options. We must applaud Fly Jinnah’s commitment to Pakistan by taking on routes that will be highly competitive or under served. That’s how you connect a country and fuel growth. Well done guys. 🇵🇰❤️🔥

A great insight into subcontinent history….

[Azhar Abbas @AzharAbbas3]

PEMRA has issued a show-cause notice to Geo News for airing content related to the legendary subcontinent singer Asha Bhosle.
It has always been customary to revisit and celebrate the work of iconic artists when reporting on them. In fact, for an artist of Asha Bhosle’s stature, we should have shared even more of her timeless and memorable songs than we did.
Yet, Pakistan’s electronic media regulator, Pemra, has chosen to restrict this.
Art, like knowledge, is a shared heritage of humanity and it should not be confined by borders. Asha Bhosle herself admired Pakistan’s legendary singer Noor Jahan, whom she fondly called her “elder sister.” She collaborated with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and brought to life the poetry of great Urdu poets like Nasir Kazmi.
In times of war and conflict, art and artists should not become casualties. Intellectuals, musicians, and creators are often the very voices that stand against hatred and division, and the ones who bring people closer together.

We are building the biggest and broadest coalition in American Political History. This includes record-breaking numbers of Arab and Muslim Voters in Michigan who want PEACE. They know Kamala and her warmonger Cabinet will invade the Middle East, get millions of Muslims killed, and start World War III. VOTE TRUMP, AND BRING BACK PEACE!

Saudi Arabia has finalized plans for a $10 billion oil refinery in Gwadar.

Aramco cooperates with Pakistan's PSO, OGDCL, PPL and GHPL.

The refinery will process 300,000 bpd and reduce Pakistan's oil import bill.

Paris could see temperatures of 45°C next week, taking into account the heat island effect, with tropical nights also. Europe and the Mediterranean are experiencing the fastest warming in recorded human history. Hard not to ask: what will 2035 look like at this rate?
