@TO Congrats Trev! They’re lucky to have you. Glad to have been a part of BFF with you and thanks for giving me a chance. Excited to see what this next chapter has for you.

18 teams were selected.
I was wrong
I thought content came after building, it doesn't it comes with it
> every post = signal
> every comment = user interview
> every save = validation
Building in public isn’t marketing, it’s your fastest feedback loop
Say hello to my @Stacks ecosystem map 🟧
Often I see Stacks posts with outdated info so I decided to make my own
I would like to add 6 more projects to this graphic, rounding it up to 50 total - let me know who i'm missing!
The next era of Stacks starts now.
Today we welcome the Stacks Treasury Committee. A focused group to steward the Endowment, accelerate builders, and grow the Bitcoin economy on Stacks.

Bitcoin fees are up 100x.
The interest in and demand for Bitcoin might increase a lot in 2024 (potential ETF approvals, Bitcoin halving, etc).
A billion people cannot use Bitcoin L1 directly; the only path forward is L2s.
Today's market reality is that alt L1s (Ethereum, Solana, etc) are better developed and more mature than Bitcoin L2s. They give users and developers a better experience and tools. It’s OK to admit that market reality and then work towards improving the state of things in the Bitcoin L2 ecosystem.
For me, an ideal Bitcoin L2 will have the following properties:
(1) Fully open-source and decentralized development process.
(2) Full VM support and can program with high-level languages.
(3) Fast blocks, you can’t wait for Bitcoin 10-30 min blocks.
(4) BTC for gas fees and BTC as the asset that is deployed in apps.
(5) A trust-minimized way to move BTC between L1 and L2 (vs federation).
Stacks v1, launched in early 2021, had (1) and (2) but was missing the rest. It’s OK to admit this. Stacks Nakamoto release will check all five boxes above.
Further, with advances in BitVM-like approaches at L1, the trust-minimization of L1<>L2 BTC movement can significantly improve down the road.
The Bitcoin fee market clearly indicates that Bitcoin L2s are badly needed now. We need hundreds of experiments here! I’m doing my part by contributing to Stacks Nakamoto development.
