Emphasized concrete joint actions to boost Middle Corridor cargo capacities, expand digital networks, and advance the strategic green energy partnership between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

By deepening mutual trade and coordinating our response to shared ecological challenges—particularly the declining Caspian Sea—we are transforming our strong political trust into tangible regional resilience and interconnectivity.

During his working visit to 🇨🇭 Special Representative of 🇦🇿 President for Special Assignments Elchin Amirbayov held meetings with Swiss FDFA State Secretary Alexandre Fasel, National Security Adviser Gabriel Lüchinger, Head of international relations at the Swiss Parliament Claudio Fischer, and leadership of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP).
Discussions focused on opportunities to further deepen 🇦🇿🇨🇭 political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as to intensify interparliamentary contacts.
Particular attention was paid to Azerbaijan’s peace agenda, current state and prospects of 🇦🇿-🇦🇲 normalization process, role of regional connectivity, including Zangezur Corridor with its integral component TRIPP project, in strengthening regional cooperation and contributing to durability of peace. Sides also explored opportunities for interaction in the fields of international security, cybersecurity and humanitarian mine action.
