Is it just me or is the dev community posting the same takes over and over?
I swear I’ve seen 100 variations of “marketing > building” in the last 10 minutes.
At some point we’re all just marketing the importance of marketing. But nobody is actually giving advice on how to do it.
@markproduct And AI makes this mindset even more powerful. Building and iteration have never been cheaper. If something doesn’t work, scrap it, learn, and build the next one.
One of my favorite things about AI-assisted engineering is how cheap it makes iteration.
If some implementation starts going down the wrong path, I’m way more willing to scrap it and start over with better context instead of trying to salvage it.
Code is cheap now. Getting the direction right matters more.

I’m curious. For those that use Calendly, what do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? I just started using the tool myself, would love to hear thoughts.

One thing I’ve been thinking about lately is that AI has made building software so much more accessible that simply knowing how to use Claude or Codex isn’t really an advantage anymore. The advantage is what you decide to build, how you market it, and whether people actually care enough to use it. Each part of that is its own challenge.
