@jasrifootball @BetMGM Forgot the obvious... Matt Flynn threw for 480 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 45–41 victory over the Detroit Lions in week 17 of the 2011 season. That got him a 3-yr $19mm FA contract in 2012. Not huge $, but awful player who had 1 awesome game.

@the_real_reason Probably because Sheppard qualifies for a Rooney Rule interview and Weaver does not. Not fair to some of these coaches to be “used” like this (not the spirit of the rule)

Remember, it was the Packers in the ‘20 draft (I’m sure JES was involved) that traded up with the Dolphins to get their man (Jordan Love) & it was their counterpart Chris Grier who was in love with Noah Igbinoghene. That says it all. And gives us a ton of hope

@JesseBlattstein I’m actually hoping to see more of a connection between Ewers and Greg Dulcich as that could be a nice part of the “young” future. I don’t believe Waller is really the future tbh - as good as he is .
