Zone defense develops defensive skills like playing in gaps, communicating, rotating just like man does, but in a different way. It’s good for kids to learn those things. Playing against it teaches you things too

@Mr_Deeds3 @TheHoopHerald Zone can work at every level of basketball, shooters or not. Zone can also be beaten without stretching the floor with good passing and off ball movement. it’s just a part of the game that everyone needs to learn at some point. I can agree with elementary school though
